Hello, November!

A

s we take off the witches hats, blend the pumpkins through the juicer (well – waste not, want not), and put the skeletons back in the closet, it’s time to get ready for that lovely pre-Christmas month. And it’s not just about Christmas shopping – although we’ve found plenty of brilliant pop-up fairs, exhibitions, and outlets for you to get that done, too. We’re talking bonfires and fireworks, pantomimes and mulled wine, and of course, commemorating 100 years since the end of the First World War. However. We can’t ignore the fact

that it is almost Christmas. And, erm, yeah – it’s okay. We’re could take it or leave it. Only kidding – WE CAN’T WAIT!!! We’ve got novelty jumpers at the ready, mince pies in the staff room, and I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday has been played 327 times in the office already. If you’re as excited as we are, then have we got a treat for you? This entire magazine is full to the rafters with events, happenings, and goingson – and (surprise, surprise) a lot of them will get you into the Christmas spirit. If you aren’t already.

Shopping p.26

For any bah humbugs out there, we’ve also got plenty of non-festive stuff to get your teeth into. Whether you fancy snooping out some collectables at an antiques fair, want to get hands-on with science, or enjoy a show at the theatre, you’re safe with us. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and find some events! We’ll see you next month – when we’ll probably have listened to I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday 1,983 times.
