Following the shy Seymour Krelborn in his green-fingered activities and co-worker crushes, this all-singing, all-dancing horrorrock extravaganza isn’t just for classic theatre fans. The musical is a remake of a classic 50s black and white film, and is a

charming show full of romance, comedy, and dark humour. With tickets between £14-16 you can bring the whole family – and if the children don’t behave, there’ll be a very hungry plant just a few feet away…

CHESS THE MUSICAL (23RD-26TH OCTOBER)

Don't miss a rare opportunity to see this incredible musical by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus of ABBA, and the legendary lyricist Tim Rice. Running for five performances only and with a sensational live 13-piece orchestra, Chess tells the heart-wrenching story of Russian chess player Anatoly Sergievsky and his wife Svetlana, American Grand Master Freddie Trumper and his second Florence Vassy, and the ongoing politics between the US and the USSR. The show includes breathtaking choreography, outstanding performances from the most talented performers in Yorkshire, and, of course, phenomenal music. Including One Night in Bangkok, I Know Him So Well and Anthem.

Head down to this musical trip through the times of Buster Keaton’s The General and Steamboat Bill Jr. There are no gaps, no rests, no breaths. Just red hot black and white keys adding infinite colour to black and white pictures.

OTHERKIN | 20th September @ The Basement Pulling huge crowds with their grunge-inspired riffs and heavy vocals, OTHERKIN’s headline show at The Basement is definitely not one to miss.
