Celebrate Summer In Style With The Fresh New Menu At Obic
With locations all over the capital and abroad, mozzarella bar Obica is celebrating the warmer months with the launch of their summer menus.
Alongside their menu heroes of fresh mozzarellas straight from the green plains of Campania and endowed with the special Protected Designation of Origin label, fresh pizza, pasta and salads sit alongside Stracciatella and Burrata from Puglia in Southern Italy.
Guests can enjoy the likes of Grilled Octopus and burrata with Italian gazpacho, toasted breadcrumbs and capers; fresh Caprese with a Mozzarella di Bufala braid on San Marzano tomatoes and a basil sauce; and the Calcutta pizza - with Mozzarella di Bufala, Lamb’s Lettuce, Crescenza, Yellow Pomodorini a Pacchetelle and Caramelized Apples.
Elsewhere fresh handmade pastas including Tagliolini with Black Summer Truffle and Tonnarelli with Mussels, Yellow
Pomodorini a Pacchetelle Cream and Toasted Breadcrumbs with Lemon are bound to get you in a sunny mood.
Other Obica favourites like the Mozzarella Bar Experience with a choice of two mozzarellas, red pepper hummus, roasted artichokes, bruschetta, and a selection of charcuterie - Salame Piacentino DOP, Bresaola di Chianina IGP, Prosciutto Crudo di Parma DOP, Ventricina del Vastese are all on offer too.
As to be expected, there's a fantastic wine and cocktail list to accompany the dishes. Choose from a range of carefully selected Italian wines or one of the innovative sips like the Inverno with tequila, pear puree, orange curaçao, citrus mix and sugar syrup.
At the Canary Wharf branch, where tables sit under the twinkling trees, guests can make the most of the location's L'Aperitivo hour that runs everyday from 5pm to 8pm and allows complimentary Finger Food with the choice of Wine, Cocktail or Beer.
