Skin Clinic
Dr. Aamer Khan, co-founder of The Harley Street Skin Clinic and well-known celebrity doctor has recently launched ABG Lab’s innovative quad of mesotherapy treatments into the UK. Based in the US, ABG Lab is a pharmaceutical company with a strong focus on revolutionary skincare technology and aesthetic medicine. It has elevated mesotherapy, the minimally invasive injection treatment, to pioneering new levels by developing a range of intradermal injectables for the cellular renewal of skin and aesthetic facial re-modelling. Its mission is to first and foremost develop safe and optimal mesotherapy injections and anti-ageing skincare technologies with exclusive propriety formulations and intradermal aesthetic injections. Intradermal injections are administered into the dermis just below the epidermis which is the upper layer of the skin. The four treatments available have been designed to target mature stem cells.
Dr Khan is the Clinical Director and Managing Director of The Harley Street Skin Clinic and is an expert in both cosmetic and non-surgical procedures. He has made a name for himself (amongst a wide variety of other things) in cosmetic injectables and alongside his wife and co-founder of the clinic, Lesley Reynolds, the team of specialists at Harley Street are dedicated to developing a cosmetic treatment which is tailored to each patient’s exact needs.
Offering an expansive range of both surgical and non-surgical treatments, Harley Street Skin are renowned worldwide for their cosmetic precision, expertise and minimally invasive techniques.
Regenerative Medicine in aesthetic procedures is the next big growth area in skincare treatment and has been at the heart of The Harley Street Skin Clinic’s practice since 2006. Dr Khan has studied and practised this subject extensively and he was honoured and proud to announce that ABG Lab had launched this innovative concept to the injectable arena. The result of years of groundbreaking research and development which has culminated in injectables that specifically target and activate cellular regeneration of the skin. The treatments have been designed to target mature stem cells, activate replication and asymmetric division of the endogenous epidermal stem cells, reduce wrinkles and lines, decrease fat tissue mass, improve microcirculation, and regulate the skin’s metabolic processes. The multi-faceted portfolio can provide a safe and effective treatment that can reduce the signs of aging and promote self-repair of the skin. “
Included in the four available treatments is the MesoSculpt C71 which is an innovative, injectable facial cosmetic that shrinks facial fat deposits in the chin, jawline, and cheeks. Containing three components which, when administered, modifies targeted fat cells to switch from localised fat-storing to fat-dissolving without causing any cellular trauma. Known as lipolysis, this improves the microcirculation and lymphatic drainage and reduces inflammation. The skin is stimulated into re-modelling and sculpting and shrinking unwanted fat as well as lifting and tightening to restore a more youthful facial contour and the classic facial triangle of beauty.
MesoEye C71 focuses on the eye area, by effectively treating eye bags and under eye puffiness, dark circles and deep crows’ feet wrinkles.
Among ABG LAB’s most successful mesotherapy technologies is its flagship Meso-Wharton P199, the only Stem Cell Active
Wharton Jelly peptide to reverse skin aging and restore health to damaged skin. Meso-Wharton P199 has demonstrated outstanding clinical results in over one million patients worldwide since its introduction in 2010 and provides the fundamental basis for skin renewal. It targets and stimulates the skin’s endogenous stem cells and provides the fundamental basis for skin renewal.
Building on Meso-Wharton P199 success, ABG Lab two years later introduced the first epigenetic meso injection treatment MesoXanthin F199. Meso-Xanthin F199 provides what amounts to a cellular rejuvenation tonic for fibroblasts and epidermal skin cells. It keeps the cells young, healthy and operating at peak efficiency. Meso-Xanthin F199 is an innovative therapy that targets the genes which are responsible for the proteins involved in skin regeneration and reverses skin cell aging and protects against premature skin cell death by protecting vital intracellular defences against the damaging effects of sun and chronological aging. Damaged DNA cells are restored and the quality of life of the skin cells is improved making them more durable.
Overall, what makes these treatments so special is that this is the first Mesotherapy treatment to use cosmetic peptides to bestow a flawless complexion by renewing skin stem cells and the first and only treatment to harness Meso-Wharton P199 analogue of embryonic peptide which acts as a signal factor to the stem cells of the skin offering deep tissue repair at a cellular level. It is also the first epigenetic mesotherapy to keep skin cells healthy, thriving and living longer and the first facial re-modelling technology to shrink unwanted fat and sculpt a youthful facial contour.
Dr Khan is very excited to be able to offer all these products, especially as they are backed by credible studies and they provide a science-based, non-surgical solution for his patients, including older patients, in whom non-surgical treatments were previously less effective.
Cost from £350 - £750 per session with 3-6 recommended per treatment and then an 8-week follow-up.
