PROBLEM STATEMENT
Along with emitting tonnes of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere from fossil fuel powered vehicles and generators, a gathering of thousands of people at a festival or other large event can negatively impact on the environment in other ways, from damage to ecosystems and wildlife, to pollution of rivers, over abstraction of water or excessive production of solid waste.
