Experience the heart and soul of traditional Ireland with Kerry Irish Productions! The vibrant spirit of St. Patrick’s Day will be brought to life by a dazzling ensemble of talented singers, dancers, and multi-instrumentalists including Ryan McCaffrey of Riverdance! Meet the Little Sisters of Hoboken in this uproarious production of Nunsense! Sister Julia accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, kicking off a mission to raise funds for the burials. The story unfolds as these lovable nuns put on a variety show led by Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer with an unforgettable flair. She performs alongside Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; Sister Robert Anne, a streetwise nun from Brooklyn; and Sister Mary Amnesia, a delightfully wacky nun who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head.

Nunsense has become an international phenomenon, with more than 5000 productions worldwide and having been translated into 21 languages! Featuring tap and ballet dancing and a quiz for the audience, everyone is invited to join in on the fun with comic surprises at every turn.

Adult Kajukenbo Self Defense

Although based on Kajukenbo (Karate, Judo, Jujitsu, Kenpo and Kung Fu) self-defense is emphasized. Self Defense techniques are drawn from the varied experience of Grand Master Marquez, but awareness and situational strategies are stressed. This is not a quick self-defense course that is forgotten shortly after the course is over. Each class will begin and end with an optional inspirational prayer.

Zumba Gold is a lower intensity version of Zumba. The choreography focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Benefits include cardiovascular fitness, muscle conditioning and flexibility! There is no class on March 12.

We’ll work on developing your child’s coordination and balance, setting a strong foundation for their dance journey.

This popular class is designed for children who are beyond Little Ninjas. The curriculum is similar to Karate/ Kung Fu; however, the requirements are not as difficult, allowing your child to develop at their own pace without frustration. 5 and 6 year olds need to have completed the Little Ninja class to qualify for this class. Each class will begin and end with an optional inspirational prayer.

This introductory course allows your little ninja to learn important life skills in a fun and safe environment. Ages: 15 and up

Learn CPR and obstructed airway for adult, child, and infant. Class includes hands-on skills practice. First aid will be basic and includes bandaging, splinting, controlling bleeding, dealing with seizures, low blood sugar, shock symptoms and treatment and environmental emergencies, along with recognizing an emergency and activating EMS, poison prevention and treatment, and burn treatment will be taught.

The Suzuki method, along with enthusiasm, patience, and over 30 years of experience, is used by director and instructor Linda Pedersen to teach students to love the violin and viola. New students please contact instructor before registering at (707) 330-2140. No class April 8 and 10.

Luck O’ the Irish Lunch

This is a virtual Driver’s Education with a live instructor. Students will enjoy a series of Driver’s Education lectures including understanding the responsibilities of having a driver’s license, learning the rules of the road and accident-avoidance procedures. Independent assignments will also be completed during the week. The course also includes practice questions, defensive driving movies and written test prep. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion.

Join us for a whimsical Luck O’ Irish lunch soiree hosted by the Sons and Daughters of Italy, where shamrocks and merriment abound, indulging in Irish flavors and tales of leprechaun magic. Ticket sales end March 6, 2025.

Lifeguard Certification Training Course

Location: Allan Witt Aquatics Complex

Ages: 15 and up

Provides a comprehensive professional aquatic training course for American Red Cross certification in lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and AED procedure. No prior experience is required; however participants must pass an onsite prerequisite skills assessment. Participants who successfully complete the Lifeguarding course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED valid for 2 years. This course is blended learning with a 7-hour online portion to be completed prior to the first day of the course, which will a link will be issued after registration. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 15 years; Swim 300 yards continuously; Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs; Complete a timed event within 1 minute 40 seconds by starting in the water swimming 20 yards surface dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point exit the water without using steps or a ladder.

Basketball Fundamentals is for players of all levels and abilities. Participants will learn the basics of shooting, passing, dribbling, and defense. Scrimmages will be played to expose participants to game format but will focus on development, learning, and FUN. Participants should bring their own basketball and water to class. *Participants aged 5 years old should be able to shoot a basketball 8 feet into the air.

Beginner level program focused on fundamentals of playing soccer. Players will start with agility training through fun exercises, followed by ball control and passing drills,

attacking and defending drills, and finishing with small scrimmages. No prior experience needed; players with 1-2 years’ experience are welcome. Program is not intended for players with intermediate and higher skill levels.

For first-time swimmers and swimmers not comfortable being in the water. Children will learn how to enter and exit the water independently, blow bubbles, bob, fully submerge and glide with kicks. Children will be introduced to freestyle and backstroke, jumping into the pool supported and water safety skills.

For children who can swim freestyle for 25 yards with rotary breathing in deep water. Children will learn full breaststroke and refine the techniques of freestyle, backstroke, elementary backstroke, sidestroke, learn butterfly and work on refining all of the strokes. Emphasis will be placed on endurance, technique, and wall transitions. Level 4 or 5 students may enroll.
