MAUREEN HALEY THORNTON NAMED VISIT FRANKLIN PRESIDENT & CEO Maureen Haley Thornton has been named President & CEO of Visit Franklin, the convention and visitors bureau for Williamson County, Tennessee. Thornton, who most recently served as the Vice President of Strategic Tourism Initiatives at Visit Houston, was selected by the Visit Franklin Board of Directors following a national search. DOWNTOWN FRANKLIN ROTARY CLUB; NAMED OVERALL CLUB OF THE YEAR The Downtown Franklin Rotary Club (DFRC) was recognized as the Most Outstanding Club in District 6760 during the District 6760 awards presentations. District 6760

covers multiple counties across Tennessee and is comprised of more than 60 clubs and 3,300 members. In addition to being named Most Outstanding Club, DFRC and its membership were also recognized during the awards event for Distinguished Service Award: Peggy Hubbard, David Jon Walker; Youth Service Award: Mike Thompson; Service Above Self Award: Patrick Shairs; Best Rotary Website: Downtown Franklin Rotary Club; Best COVID-19 Relief Project: Williamson County Clubs; Best New Project: Franklin Rotarian Cemetery Preservation Project. BRENTWOOD FIRE CHIEF NAMED AS STATE DIRECTOR TO THE SOUTHEASTERN ASSOCIATION OF FIRE CHIEFS Chief Brian Goss of the Brentwood Fire & Rescue Department was sworn in last week as State Director representing Tennessee to the Southeastern Association of Fire Chiefs (SEAFC) Board of Directors. The Southeastern Association of Fire Chiefs is the largest Division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). Goss has been with the Brentwood Fire & Rescue Department for thirteen years and has served as fire chief for the past ten. He is the immediate past president of the Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association.

MARSHALL HOSPITALITY NAMES MARKETING DIRECTOR Marshall Hospitality (AMH), parent company of restaurants including Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant, Americana Taphouse, Deacon’s New South and Scout’s Pub, has named Ashleigh Ford as Marketing Director.
