Bahrain Colouring Book’s Club Activity at The French School

The French School in Bahrain and in association with Alliance française have developed a first time interactive educational idea in Bahrain to engage the students into a colouring and learning activity about Bahrain hot spots during their spring holiday break. This is a modern interactive way to learn about the country you are living-in and to enjoy its places for a long lasting memory, claimed Mr. Christophe Freschi. The school distributed 100 copies of the “Bahrain Colouring Book” to the primary classes and then selected the best 4 contributions after the end of the holiday period. Vouchers gift of 10 BD were distributed to each of the wining students . Mrs. Gyorgyi Pretz who is looking after the parents committee have supervised this event and the author of the colouring book, Yousif Amin was invited to attend the ceremony on 19th May 2013 and gave away the gifts to the students during their classes hours. Mr. Girod, Director of the Primary School, was very surprised to see his daughter Emma in class CE2A was one of the winners as well as the best artist in the school from this colouring event. He indicated that Emma during the holiday break made a good program for the family to visit those hot spot mentioned in the book to enjoy the holiday period.
