ECHTERNACH Abenteuer und Action das ganze Jahr über in der Sportjugendherberge am Echternacher See mit eigener Sporthalle und Kletterwand! Die älteste Stadt Luxemburgs und ihre Jugendherberge sind hervorragende Ausgangspunkte um die Region Müllerthal – Kleine Luxemburger Schweiz mit ihren malerischen Flussläufen, eindrucksvollen Sandsteinfelsen und Waldlandschaften zu erkunden.
Die Jugendherberge
Die Jugendherberge liegt an den Ufern des Echternacher Sees und bietet jede Menge abenteuerliche Erlebnisse mit viel Sport, Spiel und Spaß an der hauseigenen Kletterwand und in der komplett ausgestatteten Sporthalle. 118 Betten verteilen sich auf 29 moderne Zimmer mit zwei bis sechs Betten. Alle Zimmer sind zudem mit eigenem Bad und WC ausgestattet. Freizeitmöglichkeiten für Gruppen sowie die Organisation von Kindergeburtstagen können auf Anfrage gebucht werden. Zwei Konferenzräume und ein kleiner Versammlungssaal stehen den Gruppen ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Zusätzlich zu einer Konferenz oder einem Meeting bietet das Animationsteam verschiedene Teambuilding- und Incentiveprogramme an. Im hauseigenen Restaurant werden täglich abwechslungsreiche Menüs mit lokalen und regionalen Spezialitäten serviert. Bei schönem Wetter lockt die Terrasse mit Panoramablick auf den See und den Outdoor-Trampolinpark. Sämtliche Bereiche der Jugendherberge sind für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Bewegungsfreiheit zugänglich.

Die Jugendherberge Echternach verfügt über eine 14 Meter hohe Indoor Kletterwand mit einem kleinen Boulderbereich sowie eine komplett ausgestattete Sporthalle, die den Gästen das ganze Jahr über auf Anfrage zugänglich sind. Ein ebenfalls dazugehöriger Outdoor-Trampolinpark sorgt zwischen April und September für jede Menge Abenteuer bei den Kleinen. Echternach, die älteste Stadt Luxemburgs an den Ufern der Sauer gelegen, ist vor allem durch die alljährliche Springprozession am Pfingstdienstag zur WillibrordBasilika bekannt geworden. Diese wurde sogar als immaterielles Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO eingetragen. Echternach ist reich an Denkmälern, historischen Gebäuden und Museen. Außerdem laden die romantischen Gassen im Stadtzentrum zum Bummeln und die zahlreichen Terrassen zum Verweilen ein. Aber auch Naturliebhaber, Wanderfreunde und Mountainbikefans kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Die Jugendherberge ist nur ca. 2 km vom Stadtzentrum gelegen und dient so als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge aller Art. Anreise
Echternach liegt nur etwa 35 km von Luxemburg-Stadt entfernt am Ufer der Sauer, dem Grenzfluss zwischen Luxemburg und Deutschland. Öffentliche Buslinien verbinden Echternach sowohl mit LuxemburgStadt, Grevenmacher als auch mit Bitburg. Die Bushaltestellen „Echternach, Centre de secours“ und „Echternach Nonnemillen - Lac“, liegen nur wenige Gehminuten von der Jugendherberge Echternach entfernt. Der öffentliche Transport ist gratis in ganz Luxemburg. ECHTERNACH Experience adventures and action all year long at the sports youth hostel equipped with a sports hall and an indoor climbing wall. The youth hostel is located near the lake of Echternach, the oldest town of Luxembourg and is thus the perfect starting point to discover the Mullerthal region – Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland with its picturesque creeks, impressing sandstone rocks and forest landscapes.
The youth hostel
The youth hostel is located on the shore of the lake of Echternach and offers lots of adventures including sports, games and fun at the indoor climbing wall and the fully equipped sports hall. 118 beds are disposed in 29 modern rooms with two to six beds and ensuite bathrooms. Group activities and children’s birthdays are available on request. Two conference rooms and a small meeting facility are at the groups’ disposal. To complete the offer, the animation team organises teambuilding as well as incentive programmes. The in-house restaurant ‘Melting Pot’ serves a daily menu as well as fresh and regional specialties. When the sun shines, why not enjoy the terrace with its panoramic view of the lake and the outdoor trampoline park. The whole youth hostel is wheelchair accessible.

The youth hostel Echternach has a 14 m high indoor climbing wall with a small boulder area, as well as a fully equipped sports hall at the guests’ disposal throughout the year. The outdoor trampoline park of the youth hostel provides lots of fun for the children between April and September. Echternach, the oldest town of Luxembourg, is located on the shores of the Sûre and is well-known for its Dancing Procession to the grave of Saint Willibrord on Whit Tuesday. This event was recognised by the UNESCO as intangible heritage. Echternach also boasts numerous monuments, historical buildings and museums. The romantic alleys in the city centre provide a great opportunity for a relaxing stroll or the tasting of local specialties on one of the many terraces. But nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts and mountain bike fans will also get their money’s worth in this region. Getting there
Echternach is located on the shores of the Sûre, acting as border to Germany, only 35 km away from Luxembourg-City. Public bus lines connect Echternach to Luxembourg-City, Grevenmacher and Bitbourg. The bus stops ‘Echternach, Centre de secours’ and ‘Echternach, Nonnemillen-Lac’ are only a few minutes away from the youth hostel Echternach. Public transport is free all over Luxembourg. ECHTERNACH Vivez tout au long de l’année des aventures et participez aux activités à l’auberge de jeunesse avec son hall sportif et son mur d’escalade, située près du lac d’Echternach. La plus ancienne ville du Luxembourg ainsi que son auberge de jeunesse sont des points de départ idéaux pour découvrir la région Mullerthal – Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise avec ses cours de fleuves pittoresques, ses rochers de grès impressionnants ainsi que ses paysages boisés.

L’auberge de jeunesse est située aux bords du lac d’Echternach et propose des activités et expériences sportives et divertissantes grâce à son mur d’escalade indoor et à son hall sportif équipé. 118 lits sont répartis sur 29 chambres modernes avec deux à six lits, chacune équipée d’une salle de bain et WC privé. Des activités pour groupes ainsi que des anniversaires d’enfants peuvent être organisés sur demande. Deux salles de conférence ainsi qu’une petite salle de réunion sont à disposition des groupes. L’équipe d’animation de l’auberge de jeunesse propose en plus des activités de teambuilding et incentives. Au restaurant interne sont servis tous les jours des menus variés ainsi que des spécialités locales et régionales. Par temps ensoleillés, la terrasse de l’auberge de jeunesse invite à se relaxer avec sa vue panoramique sur le lac et sur le parc de trampolines.
