In this award-winning story, a novelist on a remote island in the Pacific is linked to a bullied and depressed Tokyo teenager after discovering a Hello Kitty lunchbox that washed ashore. What you may not know is that YDL’s annual operating budget has been declining since 2010 due to reduced property values. Local property taxes account for approximately 90% of the library’s operating budget. The Library Board
