THE KARMA KILLER - CAST
SCOTT FREDERICK DUNS This may be Scott’s directorial debut, however, he is not a newcomer to the business. Scott is known as “The Nude Guy” in the Budweiser commercial “Nude Beach” which received high ratings nationally. He has also had spots on General Hospital, Young and the Restless and Spy TV. Scott has studied with some of the finest acting coaches including Harry Mastrogeorge. He is extremely proud of this film which has won numerous awards at multiple festivals. Scott is also the founder and CEO of Wild Heart Productions, LLC.
JASON FEILZER Jason Scott Feilzer was born and raised in Stockton, California and has been acting both on stage and behind the camera for the last twelve years. Jumping at the chance to work with his good friend Scott Duns of five years Jason eagerly joined working on Bad Faith. Jason relished the opportunity to be involved with the film from its inception and felt very fortunate to be privy to such pre filming work as script revisions, location scouting, and scene design. Feeling somewhat of kinship with his character Travis Rocklyn, Jason did his best at portraying a character that not only viewers can connect with but can also loathe and envy at the same time

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
The Karma Killer aka Bad Faith, was definitely a passion project for me. I had actually written the screenplay two years before we shot and because of the extremely limited budget, we had to really plan out the entire production very carefully. The last thing I ever want from an audience is for them to watch the film thinking “This must be a low budget film”. I feel I achieved as much of the quality as I possibly could considering the budget. The story and characters come off so well it carries through and the reaction has been tremendous. The actual shooting of the film took over a year because of schedules, budget and locations, that alone makes the continuity very difficult. We were very careful to make sure we took many pictures of the actors and locations as possible so that a month or two later we could match up every shot. In fact, the original ending that we shot just wasn’t the payoff I had hoped it would be. I just felt that the journey up to that point escalated so well that when we got to the ending it just fell off. It was so important to me to make sure that the ending was worth the journey that I went back to the drawing board and rewrote it. When we finally started shooting the new ending, it was almost one year to the day we had originally wrapped shooting and I was very worried about the continuity considering that the new ending takes place right in the middle of the old one. When you watch the ending, the moment just before Travis slams Connor into the wall in the old warehouse, and the moment Connor hits the wall is where the old ending ends and the new one begins and no one could tell the difference! I feel that the new ending really completed the journey for the audience and am very proud of how it turned out. This was my first time directing and acting in the same film, which was a very difficult task but such an amazing experience. Because of the success of “The Karma Killer”, my company Wild Heart Productions, LLC, has a slate of incredible projects that we are very excited about and are looking forward to entertaining audiences around the world.
