What is my usp? Unique Selling Points

Design style

My design style is dominant to use 3d and shadow effects to make designs look real and unique. i often use mockup for present my artwork in instagram or portfolio. For digital illustration, my art style is less line art & semi-realism

Color & Shape

I usually use bright colors like blue, yellow and white in my artworks. Bright colors makes my design feels fun but still looks simple without much decoration. But I like to add some unique outline shape in it.

Flexibility

I am flexible with any design style according to the client's briefing. I can create design in various style : minimalist design, monochrome, cute design, and etc.

The opportunity to get clients in the field of medium entreprise very large because branding and social media services are needed for the progress of a business.

Weakness

Projects take longer because I am dedicated to checking every detail carefully.

Tendency to experience burnout if I focus too much on the work without any time to rest.

Tendency to run out of ideas and motivation to work on projects

Need to spend quite a lot of time on breaks thats make the project is delayed but when i have enough rest, i will work on the project and ensure it is finished before the deadlines

Gracella’s Profile

Gracella Prisilya is a graphic designer from Indonesia, graduating from Binus University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Gracella is currently working full-time as a creative designer at By Painters. She is also a content creator on Instagram (designbygres) and on TikTok (guraserra) Grace actively creates tutorial content for Adobe Illustrator and has been a speaker in several graphic design webinars. Grace started creating content in 2020 and is still active to this day, with 219k followers on TikTok and 101k on Instagram.

Why i choose her as my competition?

The reason I choose Gracella as both a competitor and a role model is because I admire her content on TikTok, where she often provides tutorials on Adobe Illustrator. Her extensive experience and impressive design results make me admire her and aspire to be like her. Besides being a role model, I see her as a strong competitor because we both work in the design field, although we have different unique selling propositions

I chose Instagram because it’s the most popular social media app nowadays. On Instagram, I share my artwork and projects to reach more people.

I also use LinkedIn because it's more professional. On LinkedIn, I share my work experience and connect with others. I also follow and interact with people to make more connections.

I posted my self-promotional video on Instagram, both on my main account @yuuan03 and my professional account @yuanartwork. The video received a total of 165 likes and 44 comments. The majority of viewers were from my @yuuan03 followers, who have a 610 followers.

The reason

I chose Instagram as the platform to upload this video because I'm more active on IG and have over 100 followers on both accounts. I uploaded it on two accounts to achieve more likes and comments. I get more engagement through my main account while also showcasing it on my professional account as it serves as a strong portfolio for me.

The video was uploaded three days before March 26th because it required a lot of hard work. I spent one day recording myself and scripting, followed by one and a half days of editing. In total, it took me two days and half to create this video, which was quite challenging and make me lack of sleep. The video was slightly delayed as I had to manage other midterm assignments

The most challenging aspect was creating the short showreel, which required many hours to make a one-minute animatd video. I edited the video using CapCut and canva because it’s easier & have more simple feature rather than premier or after effect . The video was recorded using a Vivo V20 with tripod.
