Accommodating lobby, meetings, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and a wedding chapel, the public area is comprised of a series of two-storey buildings featuring local material and architectural tradition. Several courtyards are blended into these buildings, blurring the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces, and inviting spectacular scenery into the interiors. The forms and materials of public area reflect history of traditional Chinese Southern Architecture, such as elements like white walls, wooden doors and windows, pitched roof, etc...
