TRANSFORMATION
Undergraduate 2nd year Team Project, 2012 Mentor: Dr. Firmansyah, ST., MT. Team: Fachri M., Nugraha E.S., Corry F.A., Noverina D., Daryanto, Nurina H., Shafa A., Syifa K., Anindita P.
The project focuses mainly on enhancing existing space by adding an architectural element, which considered will give the space user a kind of visual and tactile experience.
Form of Muscle
We observed peoples walked by the corridor. They are always in rush, thus they didn’t have time to experience the surrounding space. Then, we decided to intervene the routinely dull corridor with an unusual plane, inspired from the form of muscle.
Relaxed smooth muscle cell
The installation product features a series of muscular tube made from bamboo slices and crocheted by colorful strings. It displays a vibrant spectrum of colors mixed by the shadow shades, bringing a new sense of place into the daily corridor.

LIVELY SERENITY
Siliwangi Art Terrace Cafe (50 sqm area) Siliwangi Urban Forest, Bandung Undergraduate 2nd year Project, 2012 Mentor: Dr. Firmansyah, ST., MT.
This project demands a cafe designed for local humanist, artisans of painting and sculpture, also the urban forest visitors. Local contexts played an important role in the design approach, finding the specifically needs of users. Located in an urban forest with abundance of vegetations. By using the existing trees cannopy, it’s possible to minimize roofed area. Visitors of the cafe will have an unique experience, enjoying their coffee in the middle of nature. It’ll be a lively serene place for the local humanist and artisans, discussing almost everything through all the day.

Braga Urban Infill (347 sqm area) Braga Street, Bandung Undergraduate 3rd year Project, 2013 Mentor: Ir. A. Rida Soemardi, MArch, MCP
This project’s focus is designing an urban infill in Bandung as the city grows and becomes denser. The project site is located on Braga Street, which is a heritage area of Holland’s colonization. There are many historical building left, and most part of them are in art deco style. The project demands a coffee shop in the ground floor. In second floor there are backpacker rooms and a small office. In consideration of its local context, the design adopts a transformed art deco style. The building facade is designated to shows it is a new building in the area, avoiding cheap imitations to its surrounding. And in order to display a strong character by the new building, the main concept introduces a dualism in visual expression. There are Vertical Thrust for displays of coffee product to attracts shoppers, and Horizontal Band for connecting the next building to maintains a harmoniuous skyline in the streetscape.

JEWEL IN JUNCTION
g(x) Sudirman Mixed Use Building (44,920 sqm area) Sudirman Street, Bandung Undergraduate 4th year Project, 2014 Mentor: Ir. Baskoro Tedjo, MSEB, Ph.D.
This project’s goal is to design an integrated mixed-use building, which became a demand as Bandung city grew denser. Building with high density will reduces city’s mobilization, in this case traffic congestion will be avoided. The building design must be able to accommodate high density residential and commercial uses in order to be as compact as possible. It must also be an iconic building since it’s located in one of the city’s main junction. Thus, as a landmark for city of Bandung, the design represents as a jewel in junction. Facilities: Apartments, Hotel, Retail, Office, Conference Hall, Cinema Studio.

Buahbatu Square Residence is a green and walkable housing cluster, the approach concept in this design starts from enhancing healthy and green lifestyle by optimizing two rivers in the site splitting the cluster into two sections. Each river acts as buffer between sub-cluster, adding scenery view in green designed site. Buahbatu Square Residence promotes walking activity by specially designed pedestrian crosswalk and pedestrian path right in front of every house units. Located strategically surrounded by buahbatu square mall and business townhouse, shopping would be an easy task. Buahbatu Square Residence also have a complete set of amenities facility including kindergarten, clubhouse and swimming pool, a mosque, basketball court, grocery store, and medical clinic.

INTUITIVE FLIGHT
Terminal 2 of Hang Nadim International Airport, Batam (86,000 sqm area) Undergraduate Final Project Phase 1, 2015 Mentor: Prof. Dr. Ir. Sugeng Triyadi S, MT.
Batam is one of the fastest growing city in Indonesia. Driven by industries and commercials, peoples need to be connected to other major cities in the fastest way, by air flight. Local airport authority reported there are average 12% growth of passengers in this decade, demanding expansion of air transportation facilities. This project features an intuitive flight experience for passengers, for both comfort and efficiency in their every own flight. Thus, air flight won’t be as panicking as ever, even in the most rush hour moments. After all, every passengers deserve a pleasant flight.

UPI Architecture EXPO Competition, 2014 Team: Arif Rizki Hutomo Edwin Ekasaputra Setiawan
This project is a 72 hours durated workshop competition, mainly focused on forest protection design. We figured out two words ‘Biodiversity’ and ‘Space’ that define the main concept. The space are designated to preserve nature environment and accomodate the locals need for local community gathering, sustained by the community itself. Forest protection design will be achieved mostly throughl education of environmental value. After all, people will protect what they appreciate and cherish the most.

Wide Span Structure & Form Exploration
Undergraduate 3rd Year Project, 2014 Mentor: Ir. Bambang Toto Pambudi
This project mainly focused on exploring form possibility by using structural approach method. The design product is an exhibition hall. The building mass was inspired by the form of Maple Leaf. It’s built of combination between arc structure and tent structure in order to get its form. Thus, getting an unobstructed line of sight in exhibition event is done by achieving a wide open floor space beneath the tent roof.
