Contemporary landscape area should be tolerant for all the possibilities created by modern life, however, the pubic spaces is highly limited in urban fabric area especially in country like China owns large population. There is no denying that China has dense urban area from large cities to little towns. Residents share limited open space providing room for diverse groups and activities. This is hwo RESILIENCE space works.

SITE ANALYSIS Fengxian Plaza is located in the downtown area of Fengxian and surrounded by residential area, hospital, commercial area and catering area. According to its lacation, the plaza attracts individual from the whole Fengxian county for diverse purposes, which is also in the network of Fengxian’s public open space.

The climate is warm and temperate in Fengxian. In winter there is much less rainfall in here than in summer. According to Köppen and Geiger climate is classi�ied as Cwa. The average annual temperature in Fengxian is 13.6 °C. The average annual rainfall is 684 mm.
