object design The concept of the involucre was to create a package for a glass bottle that would only use folding and fittings for its assembly. The simple form is generated with only straight lines that close at the top with a mechanism of three rectangular faces that intersect by its diagonals.

equipment - food handling Designed to attend sports events such as the upcoming World Cup or the Olympics in Brazil, the kiosk is a part of the urban environment and its sizing meets the spatial needs of these events. The creation process of the equipment was linked to the sports theme, with the abstraction of the geometry of a soccer ball. The result was a composition of the desired prerequisites, the use of the geometric elements of the chosen theme, giving benefit to the language of the equipment, and uniting flexibility and movement, building elaborated mechanisms from simple forms, integrating it into the space. The dimensions of the kiosk allows its usage on a car parking space, without affecting the circulation for people on the sideways. The vent on the top creates cross ventilation with the exit of hot air, and helps to maintain the user comfort inside it. The inclination of the roof contributes to the draining of the rain water to a tank, where the stored water can be reused. For the materials a smooth, resistant, impermeable, nontoxic and of easy cleaning coating was proposed. The design solutions, form, colors and coating were chosen for an appropriated use according to the application, associating the protection against the sun, rain, heat insulation, practicality of displacement and manufacture, and connected to the final purpose: sports events.
The benches give the kiosk a unit with a simple assembly; they are ergonomic and are sized to fit inside the kiosk for storage. The internal components of the equipments allow the appropriated handle of cooking, preparing and storing the food, while also facilitating cleansing and waste disposal. social housing at cantinho do cĂŠu The main idea of the project was based in the creation of circulation and living spaces in public and private domains, creating common places to the residents and the passerby. Thus, the building geometry provide a big axis of circulation, which was divided in two distinct places in the form of a square. A commercial plaza is located in the upper level of the square, heading for the neighborhood direction. At the lowest level, a green square creates a sociable place close to the linear park of Billings watercourse. Seating steps between the squares connect the whole building and create a gathering public space.
The unit was developed as a duplex for greater privacy of the bedrooms, placing them in the upper level, avoiding the look of other persons. Furthermore, in the lower level, the living room gets a better sunlight and greater view to the water, and simultaneously, being in the opposite side of the circulation corridor, it acquires, as like the bedrooms, more privacy. There is also one ground floor unit, making possible the access of the disabled.
The building by itself is composed by three separated blocks joined by a long corridor. The apartments were distributed and oriented in a way that would enhance the view of the watercourse. They can be accessed by stairs in the extremity of the buildings and elevators where they connect.

Constructively, the drawing of the buildings was conceived in 7x7m modules, which can fit two duplex units (A+B) or a simple unit (C), in a way that the column is in the interior of the walls, as is the beam, without creating a problem inside the units that already have reduced dimensions given the nature of the social housing programme.

center of academic, sports and cultural activities [in progress]
The project opted to confer a spread configuration and distribution of the buildings over the extent site. Under the same premise, the geometry of the complex allowed its connection with the park and surrounding bay. The programme and buildings are divided into three defined finalities: academic, sports and cultural uses. Spatious permeable squares provide the integration of those programmes with unrestricted paths for users. The educational unit, based on the academic programme of a state-run technical school (ETEC) is located at the lot center, allowings students to easily access the gymnasium, the large workshops and labs, and a direct path to the school’s library facilitate the academic research. The bulding was designed to create a pleasant reading balcony beneath the library, being protected from the sun and in the waterfront; also, with its façades a large internal student patio is generated. Given the challenge to merge the surrouding bay with the site and programme, the workshop of naval technology was design to reach and directly connect to the water to aid the activities held on classes.

A second typology is created with the sports and leisure programmes that define a public square surrounded by the gymnasium, the restaurant and the auditorium, where users can enjoy cultural activities.
