These days, in japanese urban city, such as Tokyo, population have been remarkably increasing. That's why, people who live in high-rise apartment buildings have been increasing too. But people who live in such an apartment don't have a chance to relate to nature because it is high density and there is no space to feel nature.

fig2.merchant in kyoto

Then, is it impossible to feel nature at the high density housing?Merchant in kyoto -kyoto is my hometown- is typically housing which can feel nature regardless of high density and . fig1. wind-bell

fig2. waterwheel

These days, In japan, it is said that our daily life is separate from nature, though in old days, people live with nature. For example, people can spend their time under an uniform temperature or conditions in house because of development of equipment. That's way, it become difficult for people to feel neture. So, I would like to propose an architecture that makes people to feel nature a lot. Nature always change. To feel this change through architecture. This is a big purpose of this project. That was why I decided to propose an architecture like a wind-bell or a waterwheel. Wind-bell sounds when the wind blow and waterwheel revolve when the water flows. These are depends on the nature's change . I forcused that the changes of the weather. It is sunny, we go out or dry clothes in the sun. On the other hand, it is rain, we read a book or watch TV in the room. I think that our activity and feeling depends on the weather. Therefore I would like to suggest the architecture agree with great nature and it's character of space depends on the weather.

Usually, architecture protect from nature such as wind and rain. People cannot feel nature in such an architecture.

If it sunny, people go out and dry clothes in the sun.

If it sunny, the shadow of the roof cast. It may makes territory.

This time, I propose the architecture that don't protect from nature and agree with nature.

If it rain, people go out with umblla or stay home.

If it rain, the rain curtain fall from the roof. It can be a dividing line.

Cycle diagram When it is sunny, water evaporate and it will become cloud. After that, it will be rain. I tried to insert this architecture in the nature cycle. Rain makes a screen like a curtain in this architecture. The water pour down through little and many holes of the floor and it will make a space or area for water-lovers. Sunlight makes shadow spaces and evaporate water. Thus the space of architecture will be changes agree with the natural changes.

Windows cut off the view. House for a musician which is designed by olgiati and Une petite maison which is designed by Le Corbusier are cut off the wonderful view. When people peep the view through the window, people are strongly aware of them. In addition to that, sometimes people feel that the view opposide of the wall like a virtual. When I saw "Open sky" which is designed by James tarrell I felt so. He cut the part of the ceiling and shows people sky. It is real sky but I felt like a virtual sky. Because the cailing is too thin. I proposed a house for two persons. The purpose of this project is that to have an illusion and residents can live with fresh feelings. This house is for two persons but they live in separately. There are very thin wall with many window bitween two person's territory. And they can see the room of the opposite of the wall through the windows. If people peep others' room through the window, he or she would feel like a virtural. In addition to that, If people see his or her own room through the window behind the other's room, he or she may feel like a virtural even if it is own room.

fig1.Domino system

fig2.Verner Panton in Living Tower

Domino system, that is proposed by Le corbusier is a simple system like a "nest". I think that a nest is prepared according to inhabitants' sense of comfortability. On the other hand, I would like to propose the architecture for chirdren like a "cave". Upon entering a cave, humanity adeptly assimilated to the landscape by interpreting the various hints of convexoconcave surface and scales. I think that Especially, chirdren can assimilate the architecture because they have personality idea each other and they don't know common sense. In addition, it is highly important for children to develop their sense of oliginality. So, I proposed the architecture that is by place-making that encourages children to seek a spectrum of opportunities.

Verner Panton designed a furniture like a cave which can used freely. It is organic but systematic and simply. Therefore I think that I can make such an architecture if I uses only one organic shapes. So, I would like to propose the architecture that chirdren can uses freely expect for it leads chirdren the nature in the park, using only one organic shape.

“Antipodas” means “the opposite of the Earth” in Spanish which used in Argentina. In September 2009, the exhibition and symposium about Japanese architectures took place in Buenos Aires in Argentina, , the title was “Antipodas”. And that time, our teacher Taku Sakaushi was inveted to the symposium. In addition, in Octorber 2010, our labratory held the exhibition, symposium about Argentinian city and architectures and design workshop by the united efforts of Robert Rafael Busnelli who is an Argentinian architecture. Through these, we could know about the culture, city, and architecture of Argentina, which is “the opposite of the Earth” and we thought about context of city from understanding about the character of Argentinian city.

Now, he plays an active role in not only Buenos Aires but also all over the world. He took place workshop with a lot of architects-Peter Eisenman for instance, and he is charge of a curator, for example, at the 2010 architecture biennale in venice, he worked as a semi-curator.
