Blurring the Lines Taipei Railway Station

Through my life expereince growing up in Taipei city, the Taipei Railway Station area is always busy with traffic. With the population pressure in Taipei city, the situation becomes worse. We developed the traffic facilties for effeciency, so inevitibly decrease the open space.

Even though, there still a lot of activities happens. Taipei city has active people, but we need a more desirable open space. I aim to create a continuous open space that allow people to pass through diverse levels, and make city activities pop up along Taipei Railway Station to Tamshui riverfront.

A transit-oriented place sacrifices citizen life, every spcae in this space was designed starting from traffic efficency, and lead to a shattered open space. Enbankment with Highway on top

Through my life expereince growing up in Taipei city, the Taipei Main station area is always busy with traffic. Even though, there still a lot of activities happens. Taipei city has active people, but we need a more desirable open space. The photo shows how beautiful the riverfront is. However, we built up the embankment to protect our city, at the same time, blocking the river from us. Also, while we develop the traffic facilties for effeciency, we inevitibly decrease the open space.

Tibet Culture + Experience + Identity

In the opening of ZhongCha Valley, we aim to enlarge the interaction with Baishui river. Through changing the water speed, altering the water direction, we let the water nourish the land and evolve the quality and richness for our site. We also create a Tibetan Town for touriust to experience the natural context and local culture. Those are the first connection with the Valley.

The project led me to think the emotional connection between people and Nauture. Capture the wind. Capture the people. How we see and deal with nature decides what the result is. I am seeking a solution to reverse inferior climate condition into wind art to encourage outdoor activities, and make the connection between people and the nature. Moreover, try the possibilties to present wind not only in visual way but also through touch and acoustic sense.

Competition Video AECOM YOUNG PROFESSIONAL EXCHGANGE PROGRAM - COMPETIITON VIDEO https://vimeo.com/193223076 I imagine in 2030, we are going to build a super system that make us synchranize with Nature. By massive collecting and analyzing, we could conmunicate with Nature in the future, and we count on her to monitor and evaluate our environment. (The video helped me to win the overseas work chance in Australia.) Agra, the beauty of India Looking at the historical palace, I realized how great the golden time the ancient India was.
