A hilarious story

Hi, my name is Renee. [A long pause.] Nothing can be better and worse to have a swimming pool right next to your SAT examination hall. After all, from the door to the hell of SAT to the cool water from heaven, all you need was 10 steps and a jump into the pool. Well I know that maybe you can’t understand how fantastic it was. But listen to me! It was summer! Horrible summer in Singapore with 100 degree fahrenheit on a normal day. Standing outdoor for only one second could be the greatest punishment ever invented in the world. It felt like even the ice-cream couldn’t make it better. Annoying summer with another annoying SAT. I hated for being here, especially when I firmly believed that I was going to ruin this last chance because my right eyelid had kept twitching for days. [A pause.] So truly, I couldn’t think of a better way to lesson the degree of irritation than jumping into the swimming pool. However, this was not how I was going to pass my day. Fun had nothing to do with me today. After all, I was a student waiting outside the hall, waiting for another suffering five hours swimming in the ocean of SAT. How wonderful it was! At that moment when I looked at those in the pool, I promise, I had never hated swimming this much. However, this is not supposed to be a tragic story, though some little misery can be an element of humor, it is not the case here. So this is not everything. My opinion of

that pool changed in just ten minutes, or maybe less than seven minutes. Actually, I’m not always such changeable. Right at the moment while I was about to sign my name on the paper to prove that I was the person who should take the exam. “Splash!” Sorry, is something dropped into the pool. Inventing a complete story of what could happen in mind, I didn’t want to turn around to see what had really happened. After all, what if the reality was not as interesting as my story. “Hahahaha!” Suddenly everyone around me was laughing. I had even seen one with a really painful expression on his face for he laughed so hard that his stomach hurt. Well, this time I had to see what had happened! “hahahah”, sorry, I really want to continue telling you the story, but, “hahahaha”. It was so funny! I didn’t mean to laugh at others. But look at him! I must post it on Facebook right after I finish the exam. Wait! The exam? The exam. Right. I still had the exam… No, it’s ok. It was just an exam. After all, look! There was somebody drop in the pool! This was much more a thing than a SAT! I must say that it was my favorite SAT experience except the fact that I kept having the scene of a poor boy in the pool in my mind all the time during the exam and totally ruined my last SAT. Seriously, I had thought that seeing such a fun before the exam could reduce my pressure! Well, true, it indeed reduced my pressure, just way too much. I should not had laughed out of lung when I was working on the reading section. After all, it is not fun. Or I thought that it was not fun when the teacher looked at me with an expression seemed like she wanted to kill me.
