The sun shined through the window and lit up the semi- dark room. The Women walked out of the bed into the bathroom. She looked at herself, her lip stick smeared on her lips, the eye shadow she wore last night looks like she now has a black eye. She turned on the faucet and washed her face. She looked at herself in the mirror and said she said, “What what the Hell.” she heard a noise from outside the bathroom. She opened the bathroom door and saw a figure lying in the bed. She closes the bathroo door and stares at the faucet. “Shit,” she thought to herself. She had to get out, and there was no way out she could get out through the bathroom. She opened the bathroom door quietly and grabd her stuff and left the bed room completely and found herself in a hall way. She wasnʼt supposed to be here, she told herself that she was going to stop this. She is better than this. “You can always come back, my child,” said a voice in her head. She shook her head, “Not now please,” she said to the voice. She had to find some way to stop finding herself in an apartment with a stranger. But how? She thought. “Iʼm tired of this shit!” she yelled kicking a soda can on the street. She remembered who she use to be. She use to be a fun loving girl, who had everything. Family, Friends, God, even a boyfriend. No, she is walking to her empty apartment just going from God knows where. She dropped her life because she needed to feel something she wasnʼt feeling.

She knew tht her family still cared for her, She knew her boyfriend still cared for her. God kept calling her, that was something she couldnʼt run from. She knew her was there, but just ignored him. How could he take me back?she thought. “My Child, I am here! Listen to me,”said the voice. She shook her head, “Not now,”she said to it. She got to her apartment and opened the door. She went into the kitchen to get a drink and just took in her surroundings. This is what she wanted....right? She thought. She threw the drink down. Tears formed in her eyes, she felt them hot going down her cheeck. She broke glass after glass, plate after plate. More tears. More destruction. She knelt down and cried not knowing what to do. “My, Child,” said the voice. “I am here,” the voice continued. More crying. “I know...okay,” she said trying to stop the tears from falling. “I know you are,” she said.
