VOL. 2 / 2020-2022

According to Bappenas projection data (2010-2035) that the birth rate decreases every year while the death rate increases. However, as we know that development in Indonesia is also increasing, this causes the availability of vacant land to decrease. One alternative burial of the corpse is cremation. Starting from this thought, a solution to the problem was taken by presenting a place that could provide services and facilitate human needs in terms of burning bodies, namely the crematorium which was equipped with other supports.

The location chosen is close to Marina Beach, away from the hustle and bustle of the city is also suitable to provide peace for the family. The design theme departs from the design problem in the design of this crematorium, which is about circulation so that the theme raised is transition.

The funeral home is often seen as a scary place, a lonely and sad atmosphere that dominates in every room. The goal of this funeral home design is to create a space that provides a neutral and calm atmosphere for all religions to pray. The concept of nature is shown as a counterweight so that visitors can feel the presence of the Creator, by providing some vegetation and also the element of water. The columbarium is made semi-open space, so that it is not crowded when people come together to carry out traditions or during religious events.to carry out traditions or during religious events.

With the increase in tourists in Bandung which also causes an increase in the level of congestion and air pollution, the physical and psychological conditions of the community are decreasing. The initial concept raised at this hotel is inclusive space. Inclusive design aims to remove barriers and separations that create undue effort between users and between users and nature. The concept of inclusiveness is also the way in which a place is designed and affects our ability to move, see, hear and communicate effectively.

This area has an outward orientation to invite visitors to enter the hotel, by providing interesting functions in it. The facade of GSB 0 is taken from several visual characters in front of Jendral Sudirman Street by using a strong streamline with its continuity in the area.
The mass of the podium is made in a T-shape as a response to the location of the tread which is at a crossroads, the podium is also made higher so that it can be visually seen from Sudirman and Astana Anyar, to show the hierarchy.

The Sudirman area is also included in the cultural heritage area, but the colonial expression and Chinatown that should have belonged to the cultural heritage area in Bandung have begun to fade, replaced by the massive expression of the concrete roof which lacks a Bandung identity.

MRT KOTA STATION : JARING FUSI JAKARTA
VOL. 2 / 2020-2022
41
Kota Tua Jakarta as a historical entity of the city, of course has various stories in it. The historical story in it is not only written textually as a historical manuscript or document but implicitly forms the regional character of Kota Tua and its surroundings. The character of the area is not only formed from one style, but there are various styles that make up the character of the region. So that as a new typology the Kota Tua MRT Station area becomes a fusion to provide energy to strengthen the character of the area, become a binder between characters, become a fusion net bond for the entire region.

Nodes
Space syntax as a urban approach
New Architecture was formed by exploring the history of the area from an aerial view, to determine the important points forming the character of the area. Both micro and macro, we see the Kota Tua area formed from four main historical axes, namely the Netherlands, China, Portugal and Arab-India.
Macro analysis in planning the arrangement of the Kota Tua MRT Station area, we take an approach using space syntax to analyze the points of human movement, especially urban areas, so that at that point we design an element of urban furniture that can trigger human movement to these points.
43
Historical axis
Intersection
Our meso analysis is carried out by mapping the movements of the countries that form the character of Kota Tua, especially related to movements in the past and from the points of the region we connect each one so that it becomes an imaginary line.
Each tangent line creates a connection from one point to another. The injection of new programming in the Kota Tua area with the construction of an MRT station, provides a new image for the area, which must be able to align with the previous image.
44
The design approach to the Kota Tua MRT station does not only generate from the visual image of the architectural style, the design approach to the planning of the Kota Tua MRT station explores how the area was formed through a long history. New architecture for the area implicitly inserts a strong character for Kota Tua area of Jakarta, so that the typology of new buildings in the Kota Tua area is able to lift the image of the character and functional area.

Daegu as a city with the most advanced industrial complex development is known as the third-largest urban agglomeration in Korea after Seoul and Busan. However, as an industrial center, Daegu itself is not yet self-sufficient in the supply of food or livestock and energy. Urban Agriculture Park as a concept is brought to bring agricultural value in every activity held in the area, both in public and private areas. Conventional farming principles such as intercropping, multi-cropping, crop rotation, and resting period are also adapted to modern farming lifestyles, collaborating with Daegu’s advanced technologies.
