A BOOK IN TWO LANGUAGES Siddhartha, by HERMANN HESSE This is the story of Siddhartha, who travelled far to reach awakening and selfknowledge. The concept of this book I made is a reflection of this story: At the beginning, reading the text is hard-just like people have difficulty finding themselvesbecause the book’s pages are enclosed in semi-transparent paper. Readers have to cut each page to clearly see the text, and learn, just like Siddhartha, that the path to self-knowledge is challenging.

POSES FOR POSTER gather some poses that are used as backgrounds for posters, to show how many times people take various pose to their work.

PACKAGE DESIGN Create a new line of packaging for three of products bought at a 99 ¢ store Redesigned dental hygiene packaging, with patterns inspired by the characteristics of the products inside, elevating them beyond 99 cent store products.

IDENTITY FOR JAM PAPER Re-design of any business along 3rd Avenue between 23rd street and 14th street New identity for Jam paper, a stationery store. The design focuses on folding paper.

A GUIDE TO A JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM POLICE STATION If you got arrested, the police will take you to Family Court for an intake interview ( If court is closed, you will go to detention until it opens) *Family Court : The court that hears juvenile delinquency cases aswell as family matters like abuse, beglect, adoption, and child custody * Detention : The facilities(away from home) that you live in during your case if the judge thinks you will get in trouble again or skip your court dates.

PROBATION You will have an get intake interview with an officer. Depending on what officer learns, he or she might decide to ‘adjust’ your case and send you home. The other option is to refer your case to the LAW DEPARTMENT, which means you could go to court and the judge could put you back in detention. *Intake Interview: A meeting after you get arrested where the probation officer asks you(and, if possible, your parent or guardian)questions about the arrest and your life.

LAW DEPARTMENT The lawyer will investigate what happened and bring charges against you if the lawyer thinks the facts call for it. If you and the lawyer go to court, the lawyer will try to prove that you committed the offense. If the LAW DEPARTMENT decides not to file a petition, you can go home. *File a Petition : This is what it’s called when the law department decides to bring a case to Family Court. The petition includes the charges- the acts or offenses that the LAW DEPARTMENT says you committed.

FAMILY COURT The first time you go to court (Initial court appearance) after getting arrested. You will hear the charges against you and can make an admission of responsibility or enter a denial. The judge may decide to parole you home, assign tou to an Alternative-to-Detention program, or demand you to detention. * Make an Admission of Responsibility: To plead guilty or admit you committed an offense. *Enter a denial of Responsibility : To plead not guilty or deny you committed an offense.
