Colourplan Notebook “The brief for this piece was to create a functional notebook to showcase all 50 Colorplan papers. We were interested in taking conventional tab cutting traditionally found in large reference books and using them to reveal all 50 colours along the fore edge of the book, providing an endless number of colour combinations.�

Colourplan Playbook They aimed to create a piece that highlighted the beautiful juxtaposition of colours within the range. Referencing Johannes Itten’s ‘Seven Methods of Contrast in Colour’, the piece is made up of three interactive ‘play’ books which encourage exploration and discovery. Research Journal

Revolution in Colour Artist Series Arthur Buxton took famous paintings from great artist such as Guaguin, Matisse, Van Gogh and Monet then strips them down to their most basic color composition. Within this colour trend visualisation, each chart represents an individual painting with the five most prominent colours shown proportionally.

Visualising Colour Emotions Niki Getsadze
Tring to understand colour through the framework of one aspect- emotion then analysing the perception relationship between colour and emotion. Niki did his primary research by creating a website to gain the massive body of information through online survey. I aimed to make the colour image comprison stronger and easier. My outline of the outcome is to make two brochure to represent the two animation company’s character colour. But at the same hope the two brochure could be read together in a easy way. Working on the binding way was the first thinking to achieve that.
