"What’s the point of moving up (improving)?”
It is a human nature to continuously search towards the area of unknowns; technology, architecture, culture, and our daily life. We love to keep moving up in all these aspects, craving for more, wanting more control. Living in skyscrapers, using latest gadgets, flying high, even to space, but what have we gained? What have we lost? We ended up living in tiny rooms, in flashing screens, in planes, in offices, in spacecrafts that we can’t even move......
Animals in the wild are relatively natural, they follow their nature; however, the larger the size of an animal, the bigger the chance it is trapped under human’s control. Human beings are so used to take control of everything, setting borders everywhere, can never be as free as animals.
The purpose of setting “Ups and Downs忐忑” as the title is to echo the development of human and animals, and to record my point of view towards the society, future and life.
