Cinema I-MAX Project in Catania.
The idea of this project is based on the mathematical concept of a non-orientable ruled surface called Möbius Strip.
In this way we thought to determine areas that give rise to two independent structures, half underground, connected both from the functional viewpoint and the visual appearance as well. It is a complex thought to be made of reinforced concrete for the underground part, and with steel and glass casing to the surface.
Through a square leads to two different structures and spaces that host, among other things, the I-MAX cinema, a movie-theater, bars, dining areas, relax areas, libraries, offices, garages.
