The Mekong subregion contains many developing countries, most of which still rely on the primary industry to maintain their own development. Due to climatic and geographical conditions, rice is the main cash crop in the region. However, in recent years, the rice industry in this region has been gradually degraded and its development has been slowed down. This project aims to address the previous problem by conducting research and investigation on the inherent characteristics of rice, local climatic hazards, and other relevant factors. The ultimate goal is to propose a set of practical planning strategies for rice cultivation, with the intention of revitalising the development of rice in the region. At the same time, it is combined with human activities to create a newer model of rice cultivation.

Due to the unique historical context of mainland China and Hong Kong, there is a unique method of management at the ShenzhenHong Kong border crossing. The intersection of Chung Ying Street, which was opened in the distant past, divides Hong Kong to the left and Shenzhen to the right, there is only one street separating the two location. In the early years, many people were attracted by its special geographical and cultural background and went to Chung Ying Street for tourism and shopping. Nevertheless, the progress of Chung Ying Street had a slow decline as a result of several circumstances, leading to a decrease in vitality in the tourism sector that heavily depends on it for existence. Hence, the selection of this project's location was based on the aim of revitalising the area's interest and engagement through urban transformation, while also emphasising the emotional connection between tourists and residents in order to foster a harmonious and sustainable tourist city.

The Spring Festival Transport refers to a significant migratory event that takes place annually during the Spring Festival in China. This cultural phenomenon has a longstanding history spanning several decades, containing an abundance of profound emotions and personal experiences of individuals. Assuming that the Spring Festival will be a thing of the past in a future society with convenient transportation 40 years from now how will people at that time recall this historical memory? Therefore, this project aims tocreate a prospective memorial installation that encompasses both an exhibition component and an emotional experiential component pertaining to the Spring Festival Transport. The chosen form for this installation is that of a train, which is deemed most suitable for effectively representing the essence of the Spring Festival. Specifically, one segment of the train carriages will be dedicated to recounting the historical evolution of the Spring Festival, as well as preserving the emotional experiences of individuals during this festive occasion.
