Take Fruit Out Transformable Chopping Board Because the quality of those ready to eat fruit boxes sold in the market might be problematic, we might want to prepare it by our own. To do so, we would need many tools which is troblesome. thus, I design this transformable chopping board can be used as an ordinary chopping board to cut a fruit when unfolder. After cutting the fruit, you can fold it as a fruit bowl. In addition, if you want to take the fruit out, you can close the lid and the embedded magnets will stick together. Thus, the transformable chopping board will trun into a storge container.

Ready to eat boxes sold in the market. It is hard to ensure the quiluty and we can’t know the fruit is fresh or not.

If you are going to prepare fruits for yourself, you need lots of tools, such as a chopping board. When you want to eat fruits you need a bowl. Then, if you want to carry the fruits out, you might need a box to hold. But if you are busy, it might make you feel it is troublesome to do it.

Preparing Fruit For Ourselves Fruit is good for humans’ helth, and accroding to the suggesstions from doctors, it is better to eat fruit everyday.
Nowadays, people are busy on their business, so they might think it is
troblesome to prepare fruit by themselves. However, it is hard to ensure the quality of ready to eat fruit boxes. Therefore, in this project, I tried to design a tool to make the process of preparing and eating fruit easier.

This is a set of the bathing brushes, which could make people wash dog easier. The dog face shape brush is designed for puppies, old dogs and those who got sick are not indicated to be bathed, or bathed too often, according to the veterinarians. But you should still keep them clean! Not only for appearances, but for hygienic as well as health concern. Thus, we develop this specially-designed combo brush for you — to keep your dogs clean all the time and achieve better care for them.

This is an air purifier with a dehumidifier. People sometimes would like to grow some plants at their home, not only because it is good to look, but also because that some plants could purify the air. In the market, we can see some similar products which can also constitute an inner eco-cycle.
However in this design, we hope to put more emphasis on giving more
benifits o our interior space, and try to use a natural way.
For example, some plants can absorb some harmful gases and volatile organic chemicals ( Xylene, Benzene, Trichloroethylene, Formaldehyde, Ammonia ... ) in the air, and we would value this this feature to male them become a purifier.

Concept In this device, the dehumidifier can be detached to any place at home to extract water form the conditioned air. The collected water would be stored in the tank, and when the dehumidifier is attached to the main device,

Virtual Reality Glasses
Jogging Adventures is a pair of glasses with virtual reality. Users can wear the glasses when they are jogging. The glasses could sense the surroundings and obstacles by the ultrasonic sensor.
Then, the glasses would show the virtual playing situations base on the sensing
results, making the uses as the a role in the game.
In this virtual reality game, there are
some coins, diamonds, obstacles. Users could collect the coins and diamonds to increase the score and can share it to friends.
In the same time, there is a virtual competitor accompany with you. So, users would have more fun and the virtual competitor could remind the user to maintain a certain speed or otherwise the coins and doamonds may be took away by the virtual competitor when they are jogging.
Finally, the total score and collected treasures of the game will be 58 170

Colorful Night Light
A lamp bring happiness to those in need. The concept is to make single ladies in the city feel accompanied after a day's work in their apartments, as if someone is bringing them joy and singing lullabies in lonely nights. I use red, yellow and blue to make the head seemed colorful but not dazzling. The lampholder is designed to be seen like the clown's collar, making them feel being entertained.

Concept More and more single ladies rent the house for work now. After their apartments, they come home alone, and feel lonely. So, I have the idea form the single ladies, trying to design a lamp, which could bring happiness and could accompany them. I collected lots of images about happiness and pleasure and extracted the elements. Finally, decided to use clown as the topic. Night Lights always accompany people to sleep at night, so I combined these two elements and desigh this clown lamp.
Image Board In order to find out the elements about happiness, I searched lots of images by enter the keywords, which are happy, realx, passionate, pleasure and so on. Finally I choose the clown as the topic to design the lamp.

Chair For Kids
A funny chair made especially for children, which can be sitted as well as be played with. I use transparent acrylics to symbol lollipops in the faceplate of the chair. With various translucent color, it could catch children’s attention. The legs use twisted tube and decorated it by using beads in different colors. It is not only a decoration, but could be played really. The proportion about the faceplate and legs are hyperbole, but it make the chair be a very instetesting.

Concept And Material Every kid almost likes lollipop, so I use lollipop as the concept to design the chair for children. In order to make the faceplate of the chair similer to real lollipop, I use the acrylics as the material. The acrylics could be transparent or not. It could make the chair more layered and more beautiful. Some different color beads are used to decorate the legs. They are not only some decorations, but could be played.

Healing Lamps
Light up are some hanging lights. During the day, they are a group of soft color balloons. Their special colors and materials make the space with a sense of relaxation. Light up has two kinds of light mode. One is bright light source, which can light the whole room like an ordinary fluorescent lamp. Its soft yellow light can give people a comfortable feeling. The other mode is night light. At night, turn on the night light mode. The ceiling would be like a sky full of stars to accompany you to sleep.

Motivation As part of a modern lifestyle, people are pursuing a better quality of life, so most of them are always in high-pressure environments. If people can’t relieve stress to some degree and relieve unnecessary negative emotions, depression may be the result. Since stress and negative emotion that can’t be relieved may cause depression, “light” is another factor, like the well-known “Seasonal affective disorder”, which occurs mostly at high latitudes. Because people are always in a polar night environment at high latitudes, the lack of sunlight may cause them to feel gloomy. Thus, there have been many designs developed and research about “lighting” conducted in order to create a warm atmosphere that will make people happy.
Because members of communities have a lot of needs related to relieving stress and releasing negative emotions, many healing products have gradually emerged in the market. Echoing the principle of supply and demand, we can discover the true needs of modern people. Therefore, this study was aimed at discovering the factors related to healing combined with light as the research object that can potentially create positive emotions and make people happy.
Method Images were used as the study media and 10 subjects under high pressure were interviewed according to the Evaluation Grid Method. By this method, there are five attributes related to healing, including “Kindly,” ”Friendly,”“Funny,” ”Comfortable,” ”Amazing.” Then, questionnaires were used to accumulate statistics about high levels of stress and low levels of stress separately in order to determine factors deemed as attractive and specific design features. Finally, the design verification was conducted to verify that the findings of this study met the public's expectations for healing. HEALING K I N D LY

Finally, the results of this study indicated that both the high-pressure and mildpressure groups needed “Healing.” Most people expressed a desire to relieve the pressure they were feeling, and there were lots things in common between these two groups. Therefore, it was found that the high level of stress and low level of stress group had the same feelings about and expectations of healing. The design verification also confirmed that the findings of this study were able to effectively capture the factors that are considered attractive of healing lamps. 92 170
Design Step In this design project, I collected required samples for formal experiment firstly. Then, used “focus group interviewing” to filter the image samples with healing attractive factors. All samples cards were provided to interviewees a the reference at “in-depth interview”. They could identify and descript the attractive factors from the samples . In the stage of focus group interviewing , selected the sample cards with the attractive factors of healing product. Then, conducted the “Evaluation Grid Method “stage. The main propose is to understand healing lamp attractive factors from the high-pressure group. Used KJ method to simplify and extracted specific features of healing lamps for the next stage ” quantitative analysis”. In the quantitative analysis stage, we wanted to know that how the main factors affect each other and the degree of influence . Thus , this experiment used the ” Quantitative Theory I“ to statistical and analysis , then found the strength of influence and the weight of the attractive factors . Finally , used the important attractive factors to design the healing lamp .
EGM (Evaluation Grid Method) The Evaluation Grid Method is an important method about Miryoku Engineering, which was improved in two steps by Sanui and Inui (1986) from the Repertory Grid Method (RGM).
It
could help designers to understand the people's psychological cognitive level of a thing. It is a qualitative research and method. Through this method, the abstract psychological feelings and specific subtle conditions, which elusive capture in usual, can be extracted. The first step is to answer like or not by evaluation of the target. The second step is a process to clarify the meaning and status of the answer by additional question. Through iterative laddering to understand the abstract feelings, initial reasons and concrete reasons. In this design project , the main concept of Evaluation Grid Method is interviewing the high-pressure group with healing lamp. Pairwise comparisons the characteristics of healing lamp and sort out the opinions public widely recognized by the practical idea of consumers. Although the abstract feelings, which is hard to be analyzed in usual , such as t he sense of belonging and companionship , both can be analyzed by the evaluation grid method . Ma (2010) mentions that , for designers , Evaluation Grid Method is a way to help them understand consumer thinking and help designers closer to consumer demand and propose more intimate emotional design elements .

The top 5 attractive feelings about healing After interviewed with 10 people with high-pressure by the Evaluation Grid Method. There are 162 items of the abstract feelings totally. This study used the KJ method to simply that. Through the simplification, the 162 items were reduced to 17 items. In order to filter the most representative attractive factors as the questionnaire items, thus, this study selected the top 5 abstract feelings and its corresponding initial reasons and the concrete reasons by the mentioned times

Everytime we go on a vacation or a business trip, we have to cram our baggage with clothes and daily necessaries. But when we reach the destination and open the baggage, we always found the clothes, especially shirts, wrinkled in such a crowded space. However, there are not any ironing tool in the hotel room always. Thus, this clothes spool can easy store clothes without any wrinkles on them by rotating the clothes .
They can provide protection for clothes in the luggage. So you can always wear tidy clothes easily and conveniently during your trip. When you use this clothes reel you should open the clips first. After clamping your cloth, you can rotate the spool to roll it up. Finally, close the cover to protect your clothes. 108 170

If the pictures could be print out and give it to your friends, it would be a great gift. On the trip, sometimes we would buy the postcards and send it to our friends and family. If we could send the photo catch by ourself it could be more special and more commemorative value . T-printer could be elongated, so it could print the A4 size papers. When you are on a business trip, you also can print out the important documents all the time.

Travel The T-Printer is very tiny. If you go traveling, it is very easy to carry. You can put it in your bag all the time. you can use it to print out the photo and share with your friends as polaroid. You also can print out the photo as the postcards, and send the postcards to your family and friends.

U Look is a APP that training children's visual perception. This APP is not only designed specially for children with developmental coordination disorder, but for children in general. They can also play this game in order to increase children's visual perception. This APP system integrates children, professional physicians and parents. After children play the game, parents can click to see the performance of children and know the current performance of them.

Concept This is a box containing a book, a map and three dolls. The book is a story book and a user guide. Parents could read the story to children make them be interested in the game. If you do not know how to do, you can read the user guide to solve your problem. The three dolls could help parents read the story more interesting. The map also could make children want to paly the game more. When children break off successfully, you can move the doll forward one step. So that this game could provides a good interation to parents and children.

Concept As medical care is a very cautious thing, every little part may be related to a life. In the past, doctors and nurses have to care for patients and deal with a lot of things everyday. In my interview, while doctors went the hospital, they will visit wheir patients first. The past paper informations are too complicated. Nurses always need to hold a heavy medical records to go with the doctors. Therefore we hope to integrate these complex data on a lightweight pad. So that doctors and nurses could reduce their workload and the medical quility could be increased.
