Your skin is like a canvas on which your life is illustrated. Soft and unmarked skin tells just as much of a story as skin with tattoos or piercings. Each freckle is a decorative star, and each stretch mark a streak of lightning. The presence of calluses and scars-or lack thereof- tell stories of the life you’ve lived, the blessings you’ve had, and the battles you’ve fought and won. That is the coolest shit.
You’re eyes are like stars; they twinkle when you smile. Their light sees the world from a viewpoint all their own, and they allude to the sea of thought within. With them, you have seen things, both pleasant and distinctly not, that I never have. That is the coolest shit.

Your smile is like the sun, casting warmth when you laugh, inspiring passion with its excitement and illuminating the color of your skin and hair with new beauty. Your smile is an indicator of unique emotion never to be belittled even if inspired by a TV show or food.

Your laugh is like a brook, your voice akin to the sound of the water bouncing and bubbling over the riverbed. Each sound is unique to you, echoing joy off the orifices of your mouth in ways no one can copy. It is evidence that life has not defeated you and you fight on.

Your voice is like the wind, carrying thoughts from your mind to mine. Like a scent on the breeze, your tones are like the smells of your emotions. Sometimes they’re subtle and quiet, other times they’re strong and consistent. Your voice is an integral part of the incredible symphony of life.

Your mind is an infinite universe-whether shaky or strong, artistic or scientific, passive or not. Whole worlds rest in your mind that I cannot fathom. The rules and physics that govern those worlds might be entirely different from those that govern mine. That place might be totally different from what you look like, making getting to know you an exciting adventure.

Your heart is like a precious gemstone. It may be rough cut and inexperienced or smoothed by the waters of life and wise. It may be soft and easily harmed, or hard and stubborn. Every event in your life has chipped a new facet or helped to polish that miracle in the center of your soul.

How you look from head to toe is a story waiting to be told. You wear what you believe, sometimes taking the form of a special garment and other times clothing to cover up to keep on the conservative side. Or you wear what you have to in order to get by, keeping yourself a secret with invisible ink to avoid others’ criticism until the day that you can really bask in the sun and warm up that text for the world to really see you. Others wear what they want regardless. Colorful hair, tattoos, makeup, and piercings are all exciting choices, flashes of color or words in bold text that call attention to a brave or creative soul within. Less attention grabbing clothing and style choices indicate that you’d prefer privacy and to go about your business or just like comfort, outlining your actions with a professional and simple font.

Every aspect of you has something special about it, something significant in one way or another in you living your life, acting out your story, adding to others’ stories. We all have our quirks and differences. Everything is the same and different all at once, like we’re all desserts but we each have a unique texture and flavor.
