Presents

It’s our third SummerFest season--for opera and musical fans of all ages at the exquisite Twentieth Century Club in Oakland. We offer delightful festival fare including operas sung in English, a musical, a sneak peak of a brand-new work inspired by the life of Rachel Carson, a children’s opera, a late-night world premiere about internet dating, and free cabaret after the Mainstage shows. The TCC serves up dinners, brunches, and beverages throughout SummerFest. And recent enhancements in acoustics, seating, and air conditioning make this Oakland landmark an even more enjoyable place to come for a show that’s up-close and personal! It’s a unique experience and it’s fun! It’s SummerFest!

Thursday, July 10 at 7:30 pm Pittsburgh’s favorite international opera star opens SummerFest with a rare solo recital. Ms. Cornetti gives a public Master Class on July 15.

Hop to the opera! Mark Twain’s beloved short

story explodes with dramatic life in this short, comic opera for kids of all ages! It’s a wonderful 40-minute trip of trickery and hilarity at a frog jumping contest in a California Gold Rush town.
