Systems designed to protect concrete floors from harsh industrial environments subject to heavy motorized wheel traffic including cars, trucks, towmotors and material carts. In addition to excellent abrasion resistance these floor systems offer exceptional chemical resistance* to a wide range of water, chemicals and solvents.

SURFACE PREPARATION - Concrete: All new or unpainted concrete floor surfaces to be painted must be prepared to be clean, sound, dry and above 60˚F to assure a successful installation. Concrete must be at least 60 days old. All oil, grease, wax, laitance, curing compounds, water soluable concrete hardeners, loose/chipping paint and other surface contaminants must be removed. After cleaning new or unpainted concrete surface must be scarified by either mechanical or chemical means to remove any laitence or loose concrete and to achieve a light "sandpaper" texture similar to 100 grit sand paper. Old coatings must be sanded to dull glossy surfaces.

DEVFLOOR 525 100% Solids Epoxy Resurfacer

A two component waterbased epoxy polyamine primer and sealer. Designed for use as a primer over concrete surfaces prior to the application of urethane and epoxy coatings. Can also be used as a protective sealer over the initial prime coat.

A versatile two component 100% solids epoxy coating. It can be used alone as a clear finish or with color additives to achieve a wide range of colors. This material may be applied as a thin film epoxy coating to new concrete surfaces in good condition or screed applied up to 15 dry mils per coat to repair spalled and eroded concrete surfaces. The material has good chemical resistance and is self-priming to most concrete surfaces.

DEVFLOOR 567 Moisture Cured Urethane

DEVFLOOR 569 Waterborne Urethane

A single component aliphatic urethane coating for interior concrete floors. No mixing of a converter if needed for this material, simplifying application procedures. Available in clear and colors this material is highly abrasion resistant, up to 5 times that of conventional coatings. This material has good chemical resistance to grease, oils and moderate chemical and it’s high gloss finish enhances light reflectance and easily cleaned.

A non-yellowing, waterbased, two-component urethane with excellent abrasion and adhesion properties. For use on concrete floors subjected to moderate chemical spills and vehicular traffic. The water-based formulation is low odor and a high flash point, allowing the material to be used in areas where conventional solvent-based materials cannot be used. With excellent adhesive properties, this waterborne material can be used to upgrade existing floor coatings systems. DEVFLOOR 569 may be used alone as a clear finish or with color additives to achieve a wide range of colors.

DEVFLOOR 568 High Solids Urethane

Quartz System

A two component high solids aliphatic urethane with exceptional resistance to most chemicals. DEVFLOOR 568 has excellent abrasion resistance and exhibits excellent gloss and color retention. It cures through chemical reaction and is therefore not dependent on atmospheric moisture. Low in odor this product will cure at temperatures as low as 45F. For use on concrete floors subject to strong chemical spillage including such areas as aircraft hangars and automotive service bays. This material may be used alone as a clear finish or with color additives to achieve a wide range of colors.

DEVFLOOR Quartz Floor System A three component quartz aggregate flooring system. The system utilizes the DEVFLOOR 521 100% Solids UV Resistant Clear Epoxy as the binder. After application of the clear epoxy coating, colored quartz aggregate is broadcast into the wet film. Final application is a seal coat of the DEVFLOOR 521 and an optional clear urethane finish. The result is a decorative and highly durable seamless quartz floor. No cracks or seams for dirt and bacteria to accumulate in. Highly slip resistant, even when wet. The DEVFLOOR 521 coating and quartz aggregate are color stable and highly abrasion resistant. The system of choice where aesthetics and durability are a priority in areas such as automotive showrooms, locker rooms and clean rooms.

Anti-Slip Floor Coatings

AMERICAN SAFETY** AS-250 Polyamide Epoxy Anti-Slip Floor Coating

AMERICAN SAFETY** AS-75 Waterborne Acrylic Anti-Slip Floor Coating

A versatile two component polyamide slip resistant floor coatings. AS-250 has very good resistance to a wide range of chemical* and solvents*. AS-250 contains Kevlar‚ for extreme wear resistance and is suitable for floors subject to heavy vehicular traffic including towmotors and rolling carts in industrial environments. Available in black, gray, green, tile red, and Safety Yellow this material is excellent for use in on tough flooring applications such as loading docks, industrial floors and ramps, automotive service and manufacturing, lift gates and scales.

A single component elastomeric acrylic slip resistant floor coating. Waterborne, this low odor product is easy to apply and clean up is as simple as soap and water. The AS-75 is ready mixed, simply roll onto a concrete or steel floor. Filled with a durable aluminum oxide aggregate, this floor coatings dries to a highly profiled slip resistant finish. Available in black, gray, red and safety yellow, AS-75 is ideal for interior and exterior floor surfaces subject to pedestrian foot traffic such as apartment entryways, hallways and stairs.

Patching Materials AMERICAN SAFETY** AS-150 Epoxy Ester Anti-Slip Floor Coating

DEVFLOOR 574 Epoxy Floor Patch A three component 100% solids, patching material designed for repairing and patching work or eroded concrete floor in a variety of industries. It is especially effective in repairing areas subjected to the harsh effects of abrasive traffic and strong chemical spills. It is exceptionally tough, up to three times the strength of concrete, and is resistant to steel wheeled forklift traffic. This product will not shrink as it cures. Cracks, holes and gouges may be patched from 14" thickness or greater. Packaged in a pre-portioned kit for error free jobsite mixing and applications.

A single component epoxy ester slip resistant floor coating. AS-150 is ready mixed, simply roll onto a concrete or steel floor. This coating has good chemical resistance to splash and spills of gasoline, acids, alkalis and aliphatic solvents and is suitable for use with heavy pedestrian traffic and handcarts. Available in black, gray, green, tile red, beige, safety yellow and safety orange. Typical applications areas would be warehousing, commercial facilities, handicap ramps and stairwells subject to heavy foot and hand cart traffic. • Anti-Slip coating

Aggregate Materials

DEVFLOOR 575 Flexible Joint Filler A two component epoxy based semi-rigid joint filler for filling control joints and saw-cuts in concrete floors. Designed specifically to fill control and saws-cut joints, this semi-rigid material allows heavy steel-wheeled traffic without chipping or spalling joint edges.

DEVFLOOR 577 Aluminum Oxide Available in either a medium or coarse blend, this white aluminum oxide may be broadcast onto a wet painted floor surface to achieve slip resistance properties. The medium blend is used with thin film epoxy and urethane finishes. The coarse blend is used with the high build epoxy resurfacers or where a more aggressive finish profile is desired. Final appearance is dependent on the type and amount of aluminum oxide that is broadcast on the floor surface.

DEVFLOOR 576 Crack Filler Additive A pre-mixed additive that can be blended into a one gallon mix of DEVFLOOR 525 Epoxy resurfacer to create a heavy bodied concrete floor crack filler. The mixed material can easily be worked into fine hairline and floor cracks up to 1/8" wide and struck smooth with a flat rubber blade. The additive allows you to make a crack filler to match the epoxy coating application. The crack filler dries hard and has very good abrasion and chemically resistance*.

COLORED QUARTZ Aggregate Color quartz aggregate for use with DEVFLOOR 521 UVR Clear 100% Solids Epoxy to achieve a decorative quartz floor finish. The color quartz aggregate is color stable and highly abrasion resistant. Pre-mixed in multiple color blends the blended material is broadcast into the epoxy coating to achieve a decorative and durable seamless quartz floor. Designed for used in light duty areas where slip resistance, ease of cleaning and cosmetics are a major consideration.
