It’s Summer! And It’s Time To Refresh! Like any other summers in India, 2011’s summer doesn’t let us down. Delhi’s temperature raised up to 40˚C on April and it reached 45~47˚C on May and June. Our staffs who stays at the Center(N.Delhi) had to suffer from nightmare during nights, fighting with the heat. Thanks to that they had to take showers oftenly.

It’s certain that it’s not only the staffs who are located near Delhi suffers, such as North Delhi, Greater Noida and West Delhi, but also other staffs of King’s Way base; especially Kolkata.
Thank you and enjoy our 2nd edition of Base Newsletter.

Bible Reading Camp (6th~7th May 2011) North Delhi staffs had a Bible Reading Camp on May for 2 days and 3 nights at Greater Noida base, as soon as the summer arrived. We stopped all our ministry for a while and went down to newly moved Greater Noida base and divided into 4 language groups; English, Hindi, Oriya and Korean and read the whole Bible Reading Camp @ G.Noida, 6-7 May New Testament. One Korean church (Sin-chon Church) supported us as a blessing with finance, and Greater Noida base staffs devoted their time to host us with great hospitality. Even though we had to face a physical difficulty; to only SIT and READ for 2 days, but it was surely a pleasant and refreshing time just reading the word of God. When we finished reading the whole New Testament, we didn’t only felt proud that we read the whole books, but once more realized that the word of God is needed for our daily spiritual life. Praise the Lord for all the things which God had poured out for us throughout the Bible Reading Camp.

Fasting Prayer (30 May 2011), Love Feast (2 June 2011), Mini Sports (6 June 2011), Base Work-Duty (9 June 2011) As hot summer arrived, North Delhi base

summer with healthy spiritual, physical, and emotional status. Programs were done during 2 weeks of Children’s school vacation in Mercy ministry, and the programs were Fasting and Prayer Day, Love Feast, Recreation Sports, and Base work-duty. First, on 30th of May followed by the Base Meeting, we had a time of fasting from morning 9AM to 3PM all together. During the meeting, we prayed for our spiritual lives, and for all the King’s Way bases. It was a time that we asked for divine grace and restoration from the Lord with confession of repentance. On 2nd of June, we hosted a Love Feast; with a motif of ‘Summer Feast’. We decorated our lecture hall as a ‘beach’ which we tried to make us feel we are at the seashore. We started with having a wonderful dinner, and continued with our program performing talent shows by ministry and individual wise. Other program list was playing games, and refreshment time; fresh salad and home-made cakes! At the end of the Love Feast, we had a time of Flowing which we prepared ourselves with a present, asked the Lord whom we shall give our belongings with encouragement.
were wet with water and relaxed through physical exercise. On 9th of June, we had a time to work-duty at the Center. It was not only to clean the Center physically, but spiritually also so that our building can be our work-duty, we prayed that our cleaning will be a spiritual act to evil spirits as a Spiritual Warfare, as our Center is surrounded by a lot of Hindu temples. We divided ourselves into many teams and cleaned our whole Center, and rearranged things at the rooms, kitchen and toilets. Everyone was tired but it was a meaningful day to refresh our dormitory to make it more holy and as a space to worship God. DTS news North Delhi Lecture Hall, as well as Greater successfully.

Abhaya from CP Ministry
My name is Abhaya Nayak. I belong to Hindu background and came from Orissa state. After Christian persecution incidence in Orissa, I got a chance to complete my DTS on 2009 at King’s Way Camp. Now, I am serving and staffing at Church Planting Ministry at North Delhi base. On September 2009, I started going to a place called Sonya Vihar. There were no churches and majority of the people were Hindus and Muslims. I started sharing gospel to them day by day. But I had to face a big difficulty sharing the gospel, because I was unable to speak Hindi very well then. Still I had a burden to share the gospel to them, so I just kept on praying for them. A lot of days I was disappointed going through hardships. But I still had faith in the Christ that I will be able to serve the Lord in Sonya Vihar by myself. I used to go to the river side and pray, asking to the Lord, “To whom shall I share the gospel? To whom shall I spread the good news?” KING’S WAY NEWSLETTER
From some time later, God started show anointing in me. Then God led me to start visiting families where I work. There was a sick brother called Pintu in the family. His legs were swollen, and ants were eating up the flesh of his legs day by day. He was not able to stand up from his bed or walk by himself. His condition was worse. One day, I and our team visited his house and he was standing with the help from his family, passing urine. Later his mother and brothers were full of worry, telling us that Pintu will die soon. I felt pity in my heart for him. So that day, we felt like praying for him strongly, and we felt the Holy Spirit in our midst. And God started working in Pintu. From that day, his legs were healed slowly day by day. Miraculous thing finally happened in my life too! Now Pintu is able to stand and walk, and even work also. A lot of Pintu’s neighbors were very surprised that he got healed from a serious disease, approaching us to pray for them to get healed. God showed many more miracles in that village through us. As we were ministering to the people form that village, little by little, we could see number of believers growing, accepting Jesus as Christ. Now, there are 10 families who accepted the Christ from Pintu’s village. Through the number of newly grown believers in this village, I started a Sunday service through leader’s encouragement. I see God is truly working in my ministry. Miracles happen often, more people are attending the Sunday service week by week, and new believers are increasing in number. Thank God for all his miraculous wonders! Please do pray for the people in this village so that more lost souls can be saved, and also remember me in your prayer to fulfill my commitment. Thank you, praise God! Abhaya

Lima from IPHC
God sow two seeds in two different places and persons in order to open a IPHC (Introduction to Primary Health Care) School in Delhi YWAM base. It was amazing how God brought us(myself and Heather) together. Me & my co-leader met only once, 1 year back for few minutes. That time we didn’t even know each other’s name or where we were from. We never thought of meeting up again, but God had a plan for us to fulfill his will. God brought us together again last year 2010, where we were together for 6 months, sharing our visions, and found out our visions had a lot of common. We prayed, asked God for his wisdom and He allowed us to start IPHC in King’s Way base on 28th of Feb 2011. Through we had to face a lot of challenges, initially like visa problem for my co-leader, financial challenges, and situationthat we had only 4 students few days before the school started. After going through all these challenges, I felt discouraged and wanted to give up.
Outing Day, May
One day as I waited upon the Lord and He reminded me with some bible verses and assured me of His leading for this school. So I decided to step forward with faith. Then miraculously all our needs were met on time and He brought enough students for us as well as great staffs. I had to confess our God is an amazing God. By grace of God, we finished our lecture phase successfully. Now the students and staffs are out on outreach, divided into two teams and focusing on 4 mean places; Delhi, Gaya (Bihar), Spiti (Manali), and Kalimpong. God is faithful and His promise never fails. He is worthy to be praised. Continually remember in your prayer for the successful outreach and will share with you with great news again. Thank you all.

TESTIMONY 3
Miju from N.Delhi Mercy-Children Ministry
“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!” -Ps 133:1 This is the scripture which God gave us while preparing staff program during 2 weeks of Children ministry’s holiday. “We hope we could have more unity”. “We don’t seem to love each other”. “There is no joy but only hardship in ministry”. There were times during our Children ministry staff’s prayer night, feeling frustrated because of same old prayers, sharing, and problems. And I’m sure I was not the only who felt the same thing. So during the 2 weeks of holiday, we wanted to spend time for team building and developing unity and restoration. We started our program with knowing each others first. We could understand ourselves better by hearing how their family background is, what their happiest moment was, and sharing Children Ministry Staffs future ministry visions. We also had a time to read and share ‘Purpose Driven Life’ by Rick Warren. Through sharing our thoughts from the book, it brought us to challenge and encourage ourselves. At the last day, we read a ‘Vision Declaration Statement’ and clapped ourselves, encouraging each other. We also wrote letters to each other to express our love for one another. I don’t think we can change ourselves in 2 weeks time. The truth is that we are still weak and lack in many ways. But the thing we found out during the 2 weeks was that, we do love one another, we have passion for the Lord, we need His divine grace as we are weak, and the fact that only God can make things work in wonders, not by ourselves. Please pray for us that we could commit and love one another in God’s LOVE. And also pray that we could work for the Lord with JOY, FAITHFULNESS, SINCERITY, and PASSION, knowing God’s heart for children in India. With blessings, Miju
Ashim from W.Delhi DTS Outreach
Our couple got a vision to work in Bhutan back in 2008, during a SOFM(School Of Frontier Missions). Then in 2011 January, we had a chance to staff at West Delhi DTS, there I got to lead an outreach team to Bhutan and finally entered the promised land for us. When we first entered Bhutan, we felt a stronghold of Satan in the land.

Bhutan is also known as “Land of the Dragon” and we realized the Satan was using and deceiving the people in there. We could not even sleep well for the first few days we arrived. So the first thing we did in Bhutan was a prayer walk to stand against the evil spirits. We also spent times to have fasting and prayer. After few days passed, God filled us with His power and strength. After a strong spiritual warfare, we finally could sleep well.
Worship time, April
One day, I and my family were walking on the roadside. And on the other side of the road, we could see a lady walking towards us. When she reached around 70 feet far distance from us, she was suddenly demon possessed and even became naked in front of us. My wife Suman approached her and put on her clothes first. Then I went to her too and we both prayed for her. After a while, she was back to normal. After the incidence, Suman told me that she could feel the lady could not come near us because we are the chosen people from God which evil spirits are afraid of. We also felt that God is always with us. I hope this also encourages you that you have power in God and that He is with you always. Prayer Walk, June
Please pray for Bhutan and the people in there. Please remember our family too in your prayers.

We visited places and shared the gospel through distributing tracks, performing drama, and sharing testimonies and preaching the word of God. We also shared our personal testimonies at church to testify the goodness of God. One of the most difficult challenge for us during the outreach was distributing thousands children books and New Testament bible, DOOR TO DOOR! With teamates, April But we felt it was worth working for the people in Agra, as there are too much lost souls who did not even had a chance to hear who Jesus is. One of the miraculous thing happened to us is that we got to gather around 40 non-believers in one place to share the gospel. It’s not a big crowd in number, but it was a good chance for us to share the gospel, as everyone who gathered has never heard of Jesus before. When we shared the gospel to them, they miraculously believed in Jesus right away. We were heard that few numbers of people who were there are attending church now. We truly had a great opportunity sharing who Jesus is to many people in Agra, and thank God that He used us to fulfill his will in the land of Agra. Hallelujah!
