ABU-NSIER REHABILATION
PURPOSE: Provide a new development for the area of in- tervention, which will offer a diversity of func- tions and activities, including the existing mall, the Souq, mixed-use area, mosque, and a proper area for landscape. ABOUT: Abu-Nseir is an alive mixeduse district with several facilities and amenities but it is lacking a lot of organization and good use of spaces. Rehabilitation will, help making a compatible use for a property through repair, alterations, and additions while preserving those portions or features which convey its historical, cultur- al, or architectural values. So, the main intention of this urban interven- tion is to revitalize a degraded public space in a contemporary and fresh sense, which is easy to access and leave. And turn it into a vibrant cluster with multifunctional spaces, where u go to shop, catch up with friends and family, and have fun.
Analysis The city was built on an area of (3klm2), planned to populate 40,000 citizens, reached 50,000 residents by 2010, provided with needed services like schools, health centers, cultural facilities, security and religious buildings. Neighborhoods were designed to achieve social and interactive relationships between the residents, using the open spaces and children play areas and residential gardens.

Al-Maloul PARK
AL-MALOUL PARK
PURPOSE: Create a green park in the middle of Al Zara, consists of trees, groundcovers, vines, and ar- chitectural structure that works os a shading device. of creating a place which will meet the users’ request for urban environment qual- ity in this industrial area. ABOUT: The outdoor spaces were meant to be a juxtaposition of tiled walk- ways, shading areas, and an oak forest, that sembles the Jordanian national tree. The oak forest creates a flowing space under the trees. Bushes and ground cover of grass, and flowers, all are selected based on tone of the entire environment. for the ratio changes of pavements and greenery, circulation goes through the green areas freely; street furniture or seats built to accommodate the surrounding environment are strewn in the green areas to offer spots for temporarily resting in the space.
In Zeus’s oracle in Dodona, Epirus, the sacred oak was the centerpiece of the precinct, and the priests would interpret the rustling of the oak’s leaves

Petra University RECREATION
PETRA UNIVERSITY RECREATION
PURPOSE: Recreate the master plan of university of Petra’s campus, that reflects and enhances the missions of academic institutions and of design- ing memorable and timeless campus fabrics. ABOUT: The University of Petra aspires to be the “Uni- versity of Choice”, in Jordan and the region for learners and scholars. Although it has a lot of advantages, it lacks many things, which led us to make this contemporary strategic vision. The main purpose is to: • Creating a sense of place • Providing opportunity for human-scale envi- ronments that foster collaboration and change of ideas Analyzing and understanding site conditions and environmental factors on the campus • Devising building and campus designs that are functional, economical, attractive, and that effectively utilize the site • Establishing an architectural and landscape design aesthetic that respects and is integrat- ed with the natural qualities of the site

Al Fateh MOSQUE
AL FATEH MOSQUE
PURPOSE: Rehabilitation to the exsisting mosque with an expansion to it all with respect to the histroical site and its importance. ABOUT: The site is considered a historical place and the existing mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Amman. There were many important elements about the site, like its location, Al-Hijaz Railway, and the old running water torrent that was knows as Al-Mahatta torrent. The free-standing walls represent the flow of the torrenct and they flow in the site the way the torrent used to flow back in time. The walls create the spaces and function in between, with their different heights, locations and widths.

WORKSHOPS
Al-Zaatari Workshop
To study and understand the architecture of Za’atri refugee camp, this journey started in February 2017, when we planned workshop#1 Border Materialities* - our first station. In Border Materialities, together with Architecture students from the University of Sheffield, we worked to design spatial prototypes that attend to people’s everydayness in Za’atri camp. Later, we carried out Workshop#2 Border [Im]materialities*- our second station. Through Workshop#2, we reflected on each of the designed prototypes from Workshop #1. Through discussions with architects and people that have experienced the life of the refugee camp, these discussions unraveled many of the limitations that face architects and designers while working in the refugee camp environment. Questions during this workshop revolved around the possibility of executing such prototypes in the camp, the implementation process of such prototypes or the reasons that would not make its implementation possible.
