Historical development of the site
Due to the decline of national strength, the function of XiCang as the granary of the government was weakened. At that time, there were many children of the Eight Banners in Xi'an. The flag people had the habit of walking birds and fighting crickets. XiCang happened to be the location of the government school in the Qing Dynasty. People around knew that the flag people had this hobby, so they gathered here to specialize in the business of birds and insects.
After liberation, it was changed into a munitions warehouse and a military restricted area. During the period of state-owned economy, the market activity was considered to be the "tail of capitalism", which led to the stop of individual economic activities of traders.
XiCang market was interrupted, and it gradually resumed after 1978.
Since the mid-1980s, the richness of products has made it famous, and the first round of climax was formed in the late 1990s. Later, XiCang gradually extended, but always centered on North Lane and East Lane.
XiCang, also called Yongfeng Cang, was the granary of the government during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is called "XiCang" because it is opposite to Jinglucang on Heping Road.
During this period, XiCang became popular again. In addition to the previous transactions of flowers, birds, insects, fish, cats, pigeons, crickets, etc., it also increased the trading of production materials, such as bicycles and tricycles.

According to statistics, the sex ratios of Rohingya refugee camp in January 2018 and September 2020 were 92.4 and 94.3 respectively, higher than the normal sex ratio of men and women. Women are vulnerable groups in conflict, which will lead to many insecurity factors.

This report is mainly based on the interviews with 167 Rohingya refugees from May 2020 to May 2021; 125 men, 28 women and 14 children. Among them, 117 refugees from Bhasan Char Island and 50 refugees from Cox's Bazar had a conversation.
It mainly understood the needs of refugees and found that the needs were mainly concentrated in livelihood, food, medical care, education and security.
