Fashion in Hong Kong

HK

HARRISON WONG On the 29th of December, I went over to PMQ in central, Hong Kong to Harrison Wong’s shop and borrowed two jackets with permission from Harrison himself. Harrison Wong is a Hong Kong designer who has shops over countries that in London, Milan and Japan.

On the right: Marble Neoprene Bomber Jacket from Harrison Wong’s FW2014 I especially picked this jacket beucase of it’s pattern. One thing fasinating about marbling is that the direction of where the ink is going is unpredictable. I picked this bomber jacket also because of the trends in Hong Kong. Hong Kong fashion is not only fast changing but ever so undefinable. This may be caused by the mixed culture that Hong Kong shared with influences from the Europe and also Asia. On the left, Neoprene Long coat from Harrison Wong. Long coat is another highlight of 2014’s fashion. I personally love garments that are abnormally long. However, this coat is not especially extra long. I picked it because of it’s material. It is made with the most uncommon fabric- neoprene. The seam line of the lining is deliberatly shown from the inside making it looks more structural. I’ll have to say this is my favourite of all from Harrison’s
