Location: London - Croydon, United Kingdom

CONCEPT This development project is situated in London - Croydon borought very close to East Croydon Train station. Clients aim was use the opportuinity of good location and build residential and commercial space. The biggest site constrains was adjacent church on south side of the site where we try to keep open space.Thats why the building bulk is divided to three masses and continuosly stepped back with site boundary. The front building height follow height of adjacent building on the north side of the site.

MILTON HOUSE RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX MDR Associates 2015

Location: London - Croydon, United Kingdom

CONCEPT Milton House, Gloucester Road is a 8074m2 site located to the north of Croydon town centre, a short walk to East Croydon and West Croydon stations. The area is characterised by a mix of residential and industrial uses. The proposal is for 81 dwellings divided to 4 , comprising 1-bed, 2-bed, 3-bed ats, 4 bed houses and accessible units, divided between four different residential areas, one terraced house, detached and semidetached houses.There is also one commercial block. The proposal in principle seeks to regenerate the site bringing it back into purposeful re-use and augmenting the local area that, despite the diversity of fragmented urban forms, contains many positive attributes and is undergoing positive change. Through redevelopment, this proposal aims to be part of that change and wider strategy of urban repair along Gloucester Road.

RAILWAY AND BUS STATION IN BELGRADE WHAT_architecture 2014 Location: Belgrade, Serbia

CONCEPT The project is ‘special’ in that it is both: a destination due to its functionality (uses include office, retail, hotel, housing…) and a transferium (modes include bus, car, train, tram, bike…). The proposal is this organised as a three-dimensional urban transferium to maximise interchange between modality and functionality. In doing so the various functions of the building are concentrated above, below, around and in-between the transport lines maximising the interconnectivity now between building and the infrastructure.

THE SPOTTED DOG WHAT_architecture 2014

Location: UK, London Westham

CONCEPT

The Spotted Dog is a designated heritage asset. The proposal seeks to preserve through retention and enhance through selective removal certain poor quality additions which have accumulated over time. These include the ‘clip on’ modern additions dating from the 20th Century so as to reveal and enhance both the original and historic (accumulated) fabric. In relation to the new building proposal, there are three main Heritage considerations: The historic setting of the Spotted Dog has evolved dramatically since its construction in 1665 (est.) when it was a country house well outside the City of London’s walls. As a result of urban expansion, today the Spotted Dog finds itself no longer located in a rural setting but in an urban setting. With this proposal there is a desire for the Heritage to be returned to a ‘green setting’ although recognising that this will impact on the parking provision. An assessment of the proposed scale of the new development both in relation to the Spotted Dog and to the surrounding context was undertaken. This was to ensure that the majority of the significant historic fabric of the Spotted Dog is unaffected by the proposal and that it will constitute an enhancement of the significance of the heritage asset.

MERZ BARN GALLERY WHAT_architecture 2015

Location: UK, Ellewater

CONCEPT

The main aim of this report is to provide a coherent and holistic vision of the Kurt Schwitters’ Merz Barn project, which presents five architectural and capital works that will promote this artist’s legacy in the rural area of Cumbria, and therefore in England. WHAT_Architecture suggest a “humble” yet ambitious building. Humble in scale, and sitting in landscape as singular space; and ambitious in sense of architecture embedded in the landscape. Our proposal is adjacent to the rear of the Merz Barn building, and it’s conceived as a sunken semi-ellipse, which is orientated to the barn through an open-air space. This fact accentuates the visual connection between both buildings. With only one storey, the building is provisioned of gallery, workshop and residence for up to 16 guests, alongside with a big multi-functional yard, as a site upon which to accommodate the future architecture commission programmes. We have to highlight the use of raw natural materials, adopting a very Schwitters’ style, which bring the capacity of camouflage within this landscape, such as logs, vernacular stones, gravel, timber, trees, etc.

OFFICE SPACE FOR BRNO INVESTMENT GROUP S.R.O. 2014

Location: Czech Republic, Prague 8

CONCEPT The investor choose suitable location for headquarters Brno Investment Group but the layout of the place wasn‘t good for their needs. He wanted devide the space to few smaller offices for startup company and make one big open space. The idea of the proposal is based on one of their startup company Travelove. Behind the little house are prepared trips with love and care. Concept of office is composed from zones. Relax zone with dining zone, working zone, meeting zone, informal meeting zone in arm chairs, where employees can also work or private meeting zone in small oval meeting room. On the project I made all proposals, technical drawings for building, construction supervision and design with all furniture.

DESIGN OF TWO BEDROOM FLAT 2013

Location: Czech Republic, Prague 10

CONCEPT

This flat was designed for young family with one small kid. They had a request to change the one bedroom flat to two bedroom flat. Thanks to move the kitchen into the living room we get two bedrooms. The bigger bedroom is for two kids. On the project I made all proposals of layout for all flat and layout of bathroom, technical drawings for building construction, tendering the supplier, construction supervision, interior design

POLYFUNCTIONAL BUILDING STRAŠNICKÁ 2014

Location: Czech Republic, Prague


CONCEPT The goal and aim of my project is to design a polyfunctional building within Prague Strašnice. The project is based on a conceptual urban design, of which I feel will be an improvement for this area. Solving area is situated from Černokostelecká Street (south) to the Gutovka Park. The building is located in the western part around the existing subway station, Strašnická. The project itself is based on the urban concept “concave – convex”, where I used the terrain height differences for bridging the dominant communication V Olšinách. It responds to its shape at the proposed landscaping and seeks to create end malls to Starostrašnická Street. It also communicates closely with the surrounding buildings, yet exudes with thanks to the dynamics of the facade. Inclined plates full of green, emanate the facade of the building and through the roof and intertwine in the object itself. This leads to a harmonious connection of the exterior and interior. The building has three upper floors and a basement, which is divided into commercial and administrative facilities. The building will include direct access to the metro station, Strašnická.

AVIATIC MUZEUM IN MLADร BOLESLAV

2012

Location: Czech Republic, Mladรก Boleslav

CONCEPT The concept of aviatic museum with historical planes and ballons for the city Mladรก Boleslav is based on the symbolism that is associated with this space. The design was based on the idea of the symbol, which for me meant to fly, freedom, hover. At the time, these feelings could be achieved using aircraft or hot air balloon and it is the idea that inspired me. When we take first flying balloons and draw it, we created a large network. I used a set of flying balloons, which are connected by means of the mentioned networks.
