Introduction

Hello!

I am Zsófia and I joined Issuu as a Fullstack Developer on 1st of June. I am part of Team Stingray.

I decided to introduce myself here as I really wanted to try the platform and this way I won't leave out anything I would want to include in the introduction video.

I live in Valby on Paradisæblevej with my boyfriend, Dan and our cat, Bibi (short for Bibimbap). It's a very cool and new green area where we can grow our own vegetables on the rooftop and throw some barbeque parties in the park. I included some pictures as well, tried to keep the cat pictures to a minimum.

I moved to Denmark in 2013 from Budapest, Hungary. Many people ask me whether I'm from the Buda or the Pest side, but actually I'm from Csepel which is in the middle. It's also an island.

I did my master's degree in Computer Science at the IT University of Copenhagen. If all goes well, I will graduate in a few weeks.

Next to my studies I worked part time. For almost 1.5 year I worked as a Test Engineer at a Danish company called Phase One. Phase One makes medium format camera systems for professional photographers. I was mainly involved in lens profiling, the process of preparing lens profiles for implementation and checking whether the distortion is corrected nicely. I got to try out many cool lenses and got into photography a little.

I got to borrow the Phase One XF IQ3 100MP camera and this is a picture I shot. I used my sister as a model and I got her permission to share this image of her eye.

I also worked at Danske Bank as an IT Student for almost 2 years. I was a Fullstack Developer and contributed to a system that provided loans for business customers.

In my freetime I like to keep active. In the pictures below you can see me biking, skiing, trying out crossfit and kayaking in Roskilde. Lately, I've been into yoga a lot and I hope to get back to it when gyms open again.

I like playing board games a lot too. My two favorites are Dominion and Catan.
