ZEBROS PROJECTS SENSOR NETWORK BASES OIL WELL HEALTH MONITORING AND INTELLIGENT CONTROL ABSTRACT An embedded system is a special-purpose computer system designed to perform a dedicated function. Unlike a general-purpose computer, such as a personal computer, an embedded system performs one or a few pre-defined tasks, usually with very specific requirements. Since the system is dedicated to specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product. Embedded system comprises of both hardware and software. Embedded system is fast growing technology in various fields like industrial automation, home appliances,

automobiles, aeronautics etc., embedded

technology uses PC or a controller to do the specified task and the programming is done using assembly language programming or embedded C. EXISTING SYSTEM This existing oil-pumping system has a high power-consuming process and needs more manual power. In order to overcome this, the concept of intelligent monitoring of oil pumping units is made. The existing system is also high cost, low coverage area and high noise so we need new oil level control system. In this system, a sensor network based intelligent control is proposed for power economy and efficient oil well health monitoring.

ZEBROS PROJECTS DESCRIPTION PROPOSED SYSTEM Most oil pumping units (OPUs) have been using manual control in the oilfield. This existing oil-pumping system has a high power-consuming process and needs more manual power. In order to overcome this, the concept of intelligent monitoring of oil pumping units is made. In this system, a sensor network based intelligent control is proposed for power economy and efficient oilwell health monitoring. This system consists of several basic sensors as voltage sensor, current sensor and oil pressure sensor, temperature sensor etc. These sensors are used for oilwell data sensing i.e it senses and collects the data from the oil well. The sensed data is given to the controller which processes the oil wells data and it is given to the oil pump control unit which controls the process accordingly. If any abnormality is detected then the fault is informed to the maintenance manager. The malfunction is sent as an SMS to the manager’s mobile via GSM. Thus oil wells can be monitored and controlled from remote places. BLOCK DIAGRAM
