ZEBROS PROJECTS SITTING POSTURE DETECTION AND RECOGNITION USING FORCE SENSOR ABSTRACT This system presents architecture for information capture and analysis of sitting posture using force sensor. We utilize force sensor and microcontroller to build a system for force information. We fix positions of force sensors on seat cushions firstly. Then, we design the circuits on microcontroller and obtain the data from sensors. There are different types of information in deferent sitting postures. We analyze and categorize the information for recognizing the sitting postures. This system could be utilized to detect the incorrect sitting postures for children, patients or elder people in the future.
EXISTING SYSTEM The existing system structure for information capture and analysis of sitting posture using image processing. We predefine several types of sitting postures and use images to build a system. We are analyzed and categorize the captured information for recognizing the sitting postures. This system could be utilized to detect the incorrect sitting postures for children, patients or elder people in the future. We need a real time system. So we proposed system is real time system using force sensor. It will be placed in the chair to collect the force sensor value to microcontroller then display the posture to sitting the person.

DESCRIPTION
Several articles were proposed for sitting posture detection or recognition. There are two main kinds for sitting posture measurement: image processing technology and sensor-based. In, a surveillance system for human sitting posture is presented. The goal of the proposed system is to prevent myopia and backbone/neck diseases caused by using computers. First, the profile of sitting posture is extracted. By comparison of the real-time profile features and the standard profile features, the surveillance system will remind the user to correct sitting posture. In, on the basis of detecting human skin area, 8 typical sitting postures were recognized using PCA. In, this article demonstrated the usage of a bed-based optical pressure sensor array to recognize sitting and lying postures. Data was collected using a pressure sensor array and video cameras.
We propose a structure for information capture and analysis of sitting posture using force sensor in this system. We predefine several types of sitting postures and use force sensor and microcontroller to build a system. The force sensors are fixed on seat cushions. We analyze and categorize the captured information for recognizing the Office Address: No 4 / Flat No 3D, Sai Kiran Apts, First Main Road, Kasturba Nagar, Chennai-20 web: www.zebros.in e mail : zebrosprojects@gmail.com mob: 99400 98300
