About 27 years ago, I met a guy called Rex Lassalle who was to become both a mentor and a friend. He taught me an ancient oriental philosophy called Nine Star Ki. This model gives insights about our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being that can help us to plot a harmonious path through our lives.
As it is the Jubilee, I thought it would be an interesting thing to take a look at the Nine Star Ki analysis for HM the Queen. Please note that when I do a full analysis, it takes an hour to share it with a client so this is a very shortened version but it shows interesting traits. We start by looking at her childhood. The Queen’s dominant energy as a child was fire.
Think about what fire does – it gives light, it draws attention and it creates joy. The fire child would love to be surrounded by beautiful colours and jewellery and be the centre of attention. I would bet also that she brought much love and joy into her world. Interestingly, fire energy looks after the heart. The heart is seen as the emperor of the body so her childhood fire energy would easily be interpreted preparation for the role of monarch in later life.
The Queen’s adult energy transforms into earth energy. People with earth energy have a huge sense of loyalty and responsibility. They are grounded, motherly and persistent. They always have hidden willpower and are tenacious. I think that these are all qualities we see in the Queen.
The final element that is important for the Queen is water. This comes as a balancing energy for times of stress or as a way of being in tune with your greater essence. If you are in tune with this balancing energy then you will be operating in a wise way that is true to your essence. Having this water energy for wisdom and balance, we know that for the Queen, everything comes back to deep spirituality. The title ‘Defender of the Faith’ is not just words to her. Her whole being is geared up towards being able to connect quietly to her own spirituality and express it through the way that she commands her own life.
When we take this matrix of energies and look at them together, we gain yet more insights. This is part of the art of nine star Ki. We have a combination of fire, earth and water for our monarch. What images do those words evoke for you? Perhaps sunshine on earth surrounded by water. Sounds a bit like the British Isles to me.
