WOOLF WOMEN
Coming soon to selected Picturehouse Cinemas, Woolf Women is a documentary about five female downhill skateboarders who take to the open road and skate wherever they find opportunity. Not for the faint-hearted, downhill skating involves racing down steep roads on a longboard at speeds of up to 100kmph. The film follows their efforts to reach the cliff-hanging ancient treasure of Sumela, an ancient monastery perched high in the Pontic Mountains, where no skateboarder has ventured before. This is a true Gen Z story of wheels on fire, exploring the reason why freedom is everything. woolfwomen.com
