hether you don’t want to take the pram out with you, or the baby won’t settle and you need to do some house admin, a baby carrier is a must-have for all parents. I’ve tried a few now and each come with merits but BabyBjörn never let you down. What I really like about the Carrier Move is the detachable body section. This means that if the baby falls asleep, you can easily remove them without waking - the rest of it stays on like a waistcoat. A flexible carrier, forward and backward facing, you do not need an insert for newborns, it is suitable from birth and adjusts for growth with a moveable head section. It does however only last to 15 months (12kgs) and does not have a hood for sun protection/nursing privacy. It also is not suitable to wear on your back. In terms of getting it on, once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. It’s very comfortable and supportive to wear and like all of BabyBjörn’s carriers, the Move has been classified as ‘hip-healthy’ by The International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
