Plaza Renderings

I contributed my rendering skills to this project, which required a high-resolution, striking snapshot of the busy outdoor plaza for this renovated Portland mall in an urban shopping district. I used a pre-made SketchUp model from the initial design team to find the best angle, and populated the model with users.

I used Thea to render the model, and Photoshop to bring the image to life.

I was brought on several times during this ongoing project to produce other renderings; these display the specific planting plan of the outdoor plaza, devised by the landscape architect. Much thought was put into the design of this outdoor plaza, which would transition people in the surrounding district to the mall’s west anchor store, and surrouding restaurants and shops.
