I’m an interior designer. My design conception is to found a consistent link between the human scale and the built environment. I’m focused on improving the technical skills as well as aesthetics to create an 'interior' that is the primary claim of our profession, and to build an atmosphere. So, it's important for me to be in production and solve the details.

I started to swim when I was a five years old. After 3 years , I started to join lots of competition with my team in many cities (İzmir, Bursa, Adana vs.) for 7 years. This curiosity causes to always look for new challanges and learn team jobs.

When I was a seven years old, I started violin course at Balikesir State Conservatory. I sang a song and played the violin in school’s choir from elementary school to high school. These two activites have been very helpful in expanding the circle of friends.

My interest in photography started with elective courses I took. I think that each photograph is a story and that there is a framing of the moments.

PERCUSSION STORE Location : DEPO Ä°stanbul Semester : 2017 - 2018 Spring

BRIEF We focused on retail by conceiving it as part of the urban culture of living. Here, the consumption is not the end, but rather the starting point of a process. Particular spaces for retail have the potential to bring people together not only for purchasing particular goods, but for creating social and cultural bonds through gathering, socializing and training for those who are interested in these merchandize with similar concerns.

CONCEPT

C

D

The sales department of this place has been left behind. A workshop area is located in the center and it is desired to take in everything that is interesting to percussion. The workshop area has two uses, open and closed. The visual relationship is still in the closed state. In the furnitures used and in details, refer to the percussion instruments and it is desired to create a more bohemian atmosphere.

DAYCARE CENTER W / KIDS MUSEUM Location : KurtuluĹ&#x; Rum Primary School Semester : 2017 - 2018 Fall

BRIEF We redesigned the interior of the school according to our research findings about alternative educational opportunities. The architectural program will respond not only to pre-school events but also to cultural, artistic and social activities related to the neighborhood.

CONCEPT 1- Reception and Rest Area 2- Stairs -Play Tower3-Reading Classroom 4-Dance Classroom 5-Dressing Area 6- Wc 7-Eating Area 8- Private Music Classrooms 9-Music Classroom

In this project, the functions of the day care center and the children's museum were designed together, but the convergence of these two functions was the main goal of the project.

Entrance to the children's museum is provided by the second floor.

Daycare Center

GROUND FLOOR PLAN

“Day care center” has common and individual music classrooms, a dance classroom, a reading-listening classroom, a craft classroom, an eating area and a outdoor playground-learning area. The entire circulation area -stairs and transitional areas between classrooms- has been transformed into areas where children can play.

9- Reception and Office 10- Craft Classroom 11- Outdoor Playground and learning 12- Wc 13- Workshop Area 14- Museum Area 1

The “kids museum” part is constituted of toys teaching the basic theories based on mathematic’s and physic’s science. These two functions, which often have a distorted relationship, such as different age ranges and security, work as separate units, but they are in fact tightly connected to each other with a workshop area where they come together. This area was supported by workshops based on learning and playing by bringing together day care center users with children who came to the concept of "museum education".

OLDIES BUT GOLDIES Location : Balat, Ä°stanbul Semester : 2016 - 2017 Fall

BRIEF The two places that are Lacivert restaurant and a historical building in the Balat neighborhood in Ä°stanbul are selected by students. The main subject is common life and its requirements. Accordingly, users are identified and the place is designed for them.

CONCEPT This house will be shared by four elderly people, someone who helps them and controls both physical and mental health conditions. In spite of sharing spaces and activities like eating, cooking, resting, chating, gardening, each resident has access to private rooms that provide sleeping and taking shower. Also, the residents will have external guests and families. A space where they can spend time with them should be provided.

SITE ANALYSIS | Balat

Circulation with activities and resting area

The points to focus on in this project : - The position and location of the spaces in the buildings according to the physical activities of these people. Because the physical activity capacity of people to live here is more limited than other people. - How much private or sharing life do they need? - To get as natural light as possible for structure.

This building is made of masonry with volta or wooden ceiling and wooden stairs and floor. There are attached buildings at east-west direction. So, we can just take light from north-south direction.

Fener district is one of the oldest settlements in Istanbul. The area around the building is full of important historical buildings. The twoand three-storey masonry houses attracted attention with their mansions, stone-brick interlaced walls, arched network windows, raised towers over profiled stone consoles and hedgehog fringes. Many of these houses have not survived to the present day, and those who can reach are in a derelict state.

FERIKOY PASSAGE Location : Ferikรถy Semester : 2016 - 2017 Spring

BRIEF The passages in Istanbul have lost its importance and function day by day and the use of passages by people has decreased. In this project, students can add new functions to the given passages. Also, students are expected to make passages, which are almost abandoned, as part of life with new materials and the different potentials they provide.

CONCEPT The points to be considered in the project are to relieve the circulation, to increase the usefulness of the shops and to evaluate empty shops. For this, the shops were moved upwards and the street-like passage had a more spacious appearance. A slim and white material was chosen so that the column series that resulted from the shifts of the shops would not be lost. A new circulation was created with this material system and it was designed to enhance the property of being a street.

Surfaces transforming into furniture Circulating surfaces Street-like surfaces -Shops to move the upper quota and use the lower quota completely like street -Dropping double-row shops and enlarging the pass area

The FerikĂśy Passage is a passageway that built in 1954 connecting the KurtuluĹ&#x; street with the Bozkurt street. In general, the passage of old tradesmen has an intensive circulation. There are two apartments on the passageway which is a long and thin structure. Exits to these apartments occur through the passage. The mezzanine floor that tucked between the apartments takes the most natural light. The passage in which no renewal still today has survived its history.

UNTITLED Location : A place given by tutors Semester : 2017 - 2018 Spring

BRIEF The task is to turn the spatial configuration described in the plan given by the tutors into an interior space; the concept employed to design this interior will be based on one of the paintings listed. What you extract from the painting should help you to design the atmosphere of the interior by developing your own design approach. In cocnlusion, the idea in 2D will be animated to breath a life; in other words, it will be articulated into a tangible interior space.

CONCEPT

Hokusai | The great wave off Kanagawa

Waves, which are the most dominant elements in the picture, are interpreted and used as wood panels which change shape according to needs. These panels, which surround the entire space, do not give a single focal point as in the picture, but provide a more surprised focus. Contrast with material change made on the ground. The color and material choices were left simply.

PERSONATE Location : SantralÄ°stanbul Semester : 2015 - 2016 Spring

BRIEF In this project, it was requested to create a exchange market in SantralÄ°stanbul campus in groups of six or seven. Since the exchange market is not permanent, it will be one of the important points in the design of the modules to be re-installed and removed every day. The barter is expected to be not only an object, but also a cultural exchange. Everyone will design their exchange module by choosing their concept. The design of the modules and the situations they form when they come side by side should be appropriate for the location selection and analysis on campus.

3. MODULE

CONCEPT The module was designed in an area of 27 (3x3x3) cubic meters. The module, where wood and metal profiles are used, includes a exchange surface, a showroom for costumes and accessories, a space for workshop materials and a fitting room. Wood timbers are stabilized by metal profiles. These metal profiles are also used as display elements.

Inner Court

The design was done in this order to attract users to the inner courtyard formed by the array of modules.

MOBIL LIVING UNIT Location : Ağva , İstanbul Semester : 2016 - 2017 Fall

BRIEF The main objective of project is to design Minimum & Compact Living Spaces with minimum volume, single material -either natural stone or wood- and detailing with mobility. The given scenario is that a woman/man, a missionary, is constantly travelling in the region and other small towns to spread the simple but valuable knowledge of ‘slow food’ and principles of baking a bread. S/he is sleeping, bathing, eating and selling in the mobile unit; and when stops giving lectures, making demos of baking.

CONCEPT The main purpose of this project is to make the best use of volume. Unit consisting of two systems, internal and external, internal system to sleep, bread making, WC ; external system to provide mobility and sell bread were designed. This unit, where only wood layers were used, was required to be a whole with nature. functions diagram

WORKSHOP EXHIBITION

JEFF: Kırık Sandalye Location : SALT Beyoğlu ‘25 - 26 July 2018’ “Plastic seating, reclining units and the U-shaped steel piece that was locked when opened, were removed. This time the plastic seating unit was used to lock the feet at the bottom. A new multiplication mark was created using the removed U-shaped steel piece, this time on top. Sitting unit of another chair was added to create a new surface. Thus, it became almost symmetrical and a table or bar chair formed by simply changing its parts.”
