Millions of people are travelling each day with a car. In most cases they are travelling alone with empty seats. All of these journeys creates bad impact on the environment since it does not put the efficiency of a car to its full extent. Our idea is to let drivers with an empty seat get in contact with passengers who are looking for an empty seat and vice versa. Thus letting both parties cut travelling expenses and affect the environment in a positive way. We will offer both drivers and passengers an online payment and communication tool. With this they can come to terms with an agreement how they will fulfil the journey and the hassle with cash transaction will be obsolete. A range of reciprocally connected online platforms will provide our service to the customers. 4

Join Ride provides an online based service that will let commuters match up with drivers planning to travel in the same direction, thus making use of all available free seating in a vehicle. The transportation model will save money as well divide the environmental impact on both parties. The database will fetch information in real time from both drivers and commuters. It is a comprehensive database that all users can access through the built-in search engine. All journeys will be visualized on a map of Sweden, updated each second showing all users and their current destinations. What will this cost the end-user? We will charge our users based on a monthly or yearly subscriptions. A monthly subscription costs 9 SEK and a yearly subscription 99 SEK. The monthly payment option also allows our company to gain a steady revenue regardless if the customer chooses to travel with our services or not. Is there a market for it? Our marketing strategy is the following; instead of having the customer come to us, we will go out and meet the customers. By doing this we create a personal connection between our users and the service. We will be present at every major festival, at concerts and nisched events touring with our iconic Volkswagen bus. People will be given the opportunity to register. The Wunderbaum campaign This campaign will be part of the bus tour. There are no accessories associated so strongly with a car like a Wunderbaum tree. By having this in mind, we will hand out custom made Wunderbaum’s in the shape of our iconic bus. On these Wunderbaum’s we will print a discount code which enables one month for free whether you are registered or not. Not only does it serve the purpose of having a fresh car, it also works as moving billboard making the audience span much larger. 7
