A park system to relieve the air pollution and solve site problems.
SITE : Beijing, China TYPE : Individual work DATE : Dec. 2020
Background : Along with the GDP highly increasing, the air pollution problem in Beijing gradually matters. Beijing needs more Green space to solve the pollution. Jingzhang railway is the frist railway all designed by chinese engineers in1909. After 110 years, it had transformed to a high-speed railway underground the original location. By using the abandoned railway scale, it provides a chance to clean the air.

A Memorial landscape to memorize the disappearing urban villages.
SITE : Beijing, China TYPE : Individual work DATE : Apr. 2020
Background : As the capital of china, also one of the earliest developed city in china, Beijing actually has many urban villages in its area. But they are disappearing as the days wore on. The site will be integrated into a large scale park green space. So I plan to choose a site in the future park to build a memorial landscape to evoke people's site memory.
01 More Than skiing
BACKGROUND : URBAN GENTRIFICATION IN SHENYANG Shenyang Dongta Airport, also known as Fengtian East Airport in history, is the former civil airport in Shenyang City. It was built in 1921 and changed to military-civilian use in 1950.With the development of urbanization, the abandoned airport has brought a lot of inconvenience to surrounding residents. The surrounding area gradually rises with tall buildings, rich people buy houses nearby, and civilians gradually move away from the city and move to the outskirts of the city. The problem of gentrification is becoming more and more prominent.

As wealthy people become more interested in new recreational sports, such as skiing, they plan to transform an old airport in the city into a ski resort. But will that be good for everyone ďź&#x;

Zoom in According to the future plan of Haidian District of Beijing, Many villages in the city located in the urban-rural area will be demolished, and then the site will be integrated into a large scale park green space. So I plan to choose a site in the future park to build a memorial landscape to commemorate the scene of the Lost City and evoke people's site memory.

Some villages had been surrounded by urban area after decades.
Now many urban villages have been removed or reformed, they vanished.
Most urban villages will be transformed to urban area in next 10 years.
