PERSONAL STATEMENT

Spending the past years in the undergraduate specialism of Landscape Architecture, I fell deeply in love with this subject.As my study went deeper, I saw more excellent landscape works of other practitioners from all over the world. They broadened my horizons and pushed me to further my study abroad, where I hope to obtain a more professional interpretation about landscape and improve myself in theoretical knowledge, critical thinking, and innovation ability. I crave to explore multi-domain and multi-scale topics, grasp the trend and direction of industry development, and generate my own set of insights so that I can be a qualified designer contributing to future urban construction. How to solve the existing ecological and environmental problems and promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature through landscape architecture is an indispensable part of the future urban development and social progress. It is also a topic that I have been exploring and hope to continue to explore in future studies.
