The assignment was to furnish a living room, provide furniture photos (1), draw a plan (2) and perspective (3) views of the project. The living features floor-to-ceiling windows, a fire place and double doors leading out to the deck. I love books and places that can have multiple function. This living room is a home office, a library, an entertainment area and a family room. L-shaped sofa with bookshelves and a desk wrapped around it works as a center piece and provides seating area to enjoy a family and friends gathering in front of fire place, quiet evening with a book and a comfortable work station for a work-from-home day. Wall to wall book cases create sophisticated display for a favorite book collection. The room is furnished in a mid-century modern style with a warm glowing golden light fixtures, natural fabrics, and red and blue accents. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s is bright and open and filled with natural light.

ONCE WHEN I WAS BORED.... or my creations

natural beauty I was inspired by a combination of metalic finish and natural wood patterns. A polished smooth, shimmering shell with the wild, organic color of the wood and its natural stains and rings, the history of the treesâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; growth. They can function as a center piece, a coffee table combination, side tables, or night stands.

This vintage chest is strong and sturdy, made of solid wood. When I found it, it looked dark, tired and old. I love the charismatic and grounded look of vintage rustic pieces. To give it a new life I picked Moroccan blue paint, one my favorite colors. It brings a fresh breeze and boldness to the chest. In combination with signs of wear and aged gold this sophisticated and unique piece found its place as a coffee table/pillow-and-blanket storage for an eclectic living room.

This little stand was found in a thrift store. It was scrached up, dull and outdated. A fresh coat of brigh paint and new hardware transformed it into a beatiful console that brings in a punch of fun color and personality. .
