The mutualistic threads interlace into the nets which stack into our world, time, space, substance and spirit. During the Second Industrial Revolution, the heavy industry style was the mainstream. After it, the steel and glass were recommended by the public…

The design was planned in 2050. Aa a future project, we predict that the technology will develop more rapidly in the next 30 years and the electronic currency will be the mainstream. People don’t need to work in a traditional way. Meanwhile entertainment games will be the mainstream. The source of finance will transform from the traditional industrial structure into the games industrial-led economy. We made it as the entry point of the project and build a world where people can create values through the online games.

The project is more inclined to the the building plan. It exists as a great central system and is complementary with other functions in the city.

Mining have to give up their own chain and update to another chain. So the Bitcoin they have digged was just disappeared.

Mining enforces a chronological order in the block chain,protects the neutrality of the network to be confirmed. Transactions must be packed in a block that fits very strict cryptographic rules that will be verified by the network.

Dividing a larger whole or main body into two separate units that are significantly smaller.This process happens when one company sprits into two separate branches, thus creating two new companies.

When a hacker yields this much power over a network.it gives them the ability to after the transactions on the blockchain ledger,so they can spend and hold the same digital coins at the same time.

People who has much more hashrate can generate longer chain.Which is more convincing to other chain node.so the long chain preserve.

Under the trend of Internet decentralization, bitcoin emerges as the times require. Bitcoin system uses blockchain technology which is different from traditional currency to ensure the fairness and transparency of time account book. Because of this feature, bitcoin mining and trading has become a new "gold rush" in recent years. However, if we look at this issue more deeply, most of bitcoin is still in the hands of a few people. They publicize opportunism and the hegemony of huge computing power through bitcoin speculation, which makes miners and coin buyers without original accumulation participate in it, harvest their wealth and computing power, so as to accumulate more resources.

In 2000, Wang XinWu founded Sun Food, a company that processed and sold food based on guoba, and set up its factory in a relatively remote part of the city.

Sun Guoba once reached its peak in Xi 'an and was sold to Beijing, Shenzhen, Nanjing and other cities all over the country. Sun Guoba has become the favorite snack for People's Daily leisure activities.

In recent years, due to the rapid development of Xi 'an city, the location and economic benefits of Sun Guaba factory are getting worse and worse, and the serious pollution and profit reduction of the factory force the factory to shut down and move away.

The factory's two towers have been preserved and blended with modern architecture, while industrial esports venues and commercial blocks continue the new ethos of the factory.

SITE ANALYSIS

The site is located in Qujiang New District, Xi 'an city, Shaanxi Province, via Qujiang Road and Xiying Road, surrounded by bustling commercial industry and dense population. High - rise residence and old residential area are more; The site faces the street and is passed by viaduct. There are commuter bus stops and subway Line 3 around the site, which is a transportation hub with heavy traffic and dense human flow.

Urban villages ： There is an urban village area that has not been demolished. The inner buildings are dilapidated, simple and unsafe, which also has a negative impact on the urban appearance.

Western Film Studio: Nearby buildings are working areas for Western film Studios, which are building commercial centers with large movie theaters and entertainment.

The site retains the original two industrial buildings with high height of chimney and water tower. The site has been expanded horizontally and vertically on the plane as the center of the building.

Solve the new era of entertainment direction, follow the electronic information It is planned to establish a futuristic style, retain part of its historical appearance, and take this place as a new landmark. It will bring new breath to the ancient city through integrated e-sports entertainment and other new industrial structure, adding a different charm to the ancient city

The vertical energy supply partition of the two towers is determined and integrated. The lower functional areas are reclassified.

After the plane site is determined, in order to retain the original tower form and can be applied in the design, the vertical scheme design is carried out on both sides of the original tower.

The vertical two towers are divided into functional areas as a whole. The left tower is the main functional tower, and the right tower is the power supply tower. At the same time in the landscape main part of the detailed block division.

The two overall functional areas are vertically refined, the location of each small functional area is determined, and the height and area of each functional area is determined, which are similar to the functional design in the production of products.

In order to connect the external landscape, the lower functional area is connected externally and the two towers are connected.

The small functional zoning under each large functional zoning of the building was refined, the area was determined, the atrium was designed for the lower functional area, and plants were brought into the main body of the building.

As the supply core of a giant "product", it is a very important part to refine the details and effect performance of the building energy supply tower area, determine the architectural style, and meet the requirements in terms of capacity demand.

The diagrammatic drawing is the profile picture of the whole building. The profiles and the inner function space distributes clearly. The structures of the function tower and energy supply tower have a clear difference. The structure of the energy supply tower tends to mechanization industrial components, and we can see the planting areas in the whole building from the picture. It consists of the exterior planting, the atrium planting, lounge bridge planting and upper layer planting. The right picture explains in detail the height of the planting and the connection between the soil layer structure and building.

This picture is the schematic diagram of the rainwater collection and circulation in the building. The rainwater is introduced into the building to make a filtration circulation through the ground of the exterior building, the lounge bridge and the rainwater receiving of the upper layer planting areas. In that case, the plants in the atrium can be irrigated. Meanwhile there’s rainwater collection pool to drain the industrial waste water in the energy supply tower to the municipal channel after disposal.

This picture is the effect display of the atrium. We can observe the layout of the atrium from two different viewpoints. One is from the normal angle of elevation, we can see that the atrium design is under the lounge bridge and there’s steel-frame structure on the upper layer. The chimney and the water tower in the original site in the atrium are reserved as the display of a museum. Meanwhile there are some planting design around it. We can see the whole scene of the atrium from the floors of the building. Another is from the angle of looking down, in the air of the atrium space, we set up a exterior lounge bridge extends from the construction function areas. The function is that we can observe clearly the appearance of the original water tower and chimney and increasing the stereoscopic sense of the space.

The planting principle 1: The planting principle 2: Due to the specificity of the planting areas and the poor natural environment conditions, so we deign the plants from the endurance and the planting difficulty. We choose the plants according to the drought-enduring and cold-resistant in the lounge bridge and the upper layer planting areas. And we choose the plants such as the small trees and bushes which don’t need the good soil. In this case, we can guarantee the greening and aesthetics as well as the convenient management.

As the inner planting in the building, the building is consists of the function tower and energy supply tower. The harmful gas and substances produced by energy supply tower have disadvantages in the long term environment. So we design the building from the aspects of the absorption and the dissolve of the harmful substances and gas. We choose the plants which can resist S02, HF, CL2 to plant in the lounge bridge, atrium and the exterior building.

FUTURE GAME SPACE SKETCH

This is the architecture component tends to the future installation. It consists of the glass walls, steel-frame structure and titanium. As the games space, the upper layer brings variable combined effect through the combination of the playroom and buildings. The middle is the corridors of every floor and the channels from the elevators and the middle layers. The exterior is the stochastic net space. In the exterior space, there are some soil layers built for the plants living. The plants can absorb and transform the strong ionizing radiation substances which are harmful to people. The planting of the plants obey the idea of green building and add the aesthetics to the exterior building.

Our living environment is going bad to worse. The available land has been reducing day by day on the earth since 2000. Lots of land loses efficacy permanently due to pollution. We make a reflection and choice for this kind of environment problem. This is a project for the land restoration and planning of land development. For the above problem, we find a municipal waste landfill as an original site. Through the deep research on the problems around the site, the development history of the site and the land pollution situation, the suggestion of transforming the waste landfill into the combination of the cemetery and country park is made. As the resting place of the dead, the cemetery is their world. In the design, the walls, the corridors and the doors, combined with different colors and heights of plants are used to make a new “world” according to the restoration rules and landforms.

Site Loction

The country waste landfill in Xianyang City is in Mati Town, Qindu District. It is about 8.5km from the city center. It’s 371m long from the east to the west, 210m long from the south to the north. The average depth is 15m, it covers an area of 204.24 acres. The total reservoir capacity is 2 million cubic meters. The design age limit is 10.7 years. The estimated total investment is 80 billion yuan. The landfill went into operation in September 2009 and came into use in June 25th, 2010 There are two transportation arterial roads around the landfill which is located at the junction. There are lots of farmlands near it. There is a leisure dragon garden cemetery in the west, a medical waste disposal station in the east and there’re many concentrated villages.

With the coming of 2020 the landfill is going to use beyond its limit. The decade-long landfilling bring the irretrievable damage to the land. When the limit age comes, the area should stay in the brownfield restoration period for a long time. The applicative plan will be carried out after the restorations.

Graveyard is a material space between life and death, but how to define death? This collage focuses on Jesus who is crucified in the picture. Christians believe that death is an inevitable process in life. The socalled "according to destiny, everyone will die.". Death is no longer the end of life, but the beginning of new life. Death is not the end, but a more beautiful resurrection. So the cemetery for death exists in the new material space, and the form is no longer confined to the space of life.

The picture describes the operation process of the country waste landfill and the process of the land destruction and brownfield forming process.

The city and the countrysides produce plenty of waste everyday. For example, the people living in the city will produce the household waste, the factories will provide industrial waste, the hospital will produce some chemical and medical waste. These waste will be collected by the garbage trucks and transported to the landfills to disposed. The waste should be disposed before landfilling to avoid the damage and the adverse effect on the land. When the comprehensive waste is classifiedly dumped into the waste landfill, the solid waste and liquid waste will be distinguished. The harmless liquid waste will go into the secondary sewage disposal factory. Another fragment of the solid and liquid waste will deeply dumped into the landfill. In that case , the atmosphere and environment will not be destroyed. The solid waste will be sorted more detailedly. The waste which is harmful to the land will be dumped directly, and more harmful waste will be burned. After being burned, they will be dumped deeply by the garbage truck.

Every mound will be filled with 500 600mm waste residues. The upper layer is full of 100 mm soil and is compacted. Then 500 600 mm waste residues will be dumped and covered by 100mm soil. For the last layer of the waste residues, 300mm soil is enough to compact. After closing the site, 150mm soil will be covered on the covering layer which will be afforested.

The Elevation And Effect Picture Of The Meditation Spaces

The family cemeteries were fenced by the lower scene walls. There are many cabinets in it. Beyond the areas, the family cemetery areas are fenced by higher scene walls. That will build a silent atmosphere space.

The meditation spaces which are located among the sense walls are taller. Taller space brings the strict atmosphere which is suitable for people to clean the mind.

A place for people to meditate, pray and worship. The surrounding planting and landscape water match the main building to create a harmonious and quiet environment.

To provide a complete space for the deceased members of the family, each cubicle is an independent space, some families value the family system, so this area can meet their needs.

The planting of cemeteries takes the traditional form of cemeteries and transforms the gravestones into trees. The concept of one tree for each person is reflected here, and the memorial forms are also changed accordingly.

The Analysis Of The Height Of The Shadow Of The Wall

Open meditation space tends to be the boundary zone of the whole site, and visitors who do not aim to worship the dead will be given a new space of self-cultivation.

In terms of the shadow, the entity scene brings different feelings and atmosphere feeling for the different heights of footpaths. Through the change of the height of the footpaths, the height of the wall is changing relatively. When you are walking in it, the sense is changing too.

the straight footpaths, the height of the scene walls has different changes. The shadow changes brought by the undulating scene walls are different. The height of the plants is changing too. The shadowatmosphere goes around everyone from beginning to end.

The experience feeling of the entity scene walls is too single. The height is changing, while the hollow parts will bring different shadow experience. There are different atmospheres in different areas and periods.

The meditation space is not a closed place. The atmosphere feeling is built by light in the modern inner space. But as the light, the sunshine is a kind of natural and changing lighting effect. You will have different atmosphere feeling when you enter into the different areas in the building with different views in different periods of the day.

In the world of the dead, too many scene walls will make people feel too single or too strict. We combine the real block brought by the scene walls and the virtual block brought by the plants together to build a yard feeling through the collection of the roads, walls, waters and plants. A warm and harmonious atmosphere will be built in a relatively strict environment.

As the area with the strongest sense of ceremony, the gate and passage space provide people with a brand new visual experience and "world view" with the changes of light and shadow and material.

The lowest part of the site is provided with a rest courtyard, surrounded by a variety of plant colors, and a number of landscape water, and then enter the traditional cemetery area.

Due to the level difference of the sites, there will be the connection problems when building them. To try another way, we can transform the areas with great level difference into the cantilevered view platforms. Higher field of vision can look down the whole garden. The experience feeling will be promoted.

In the family cemetery areas, there are some fences. So one should enter into the closed and silent space through the door. We design the height and the width of the door with different kinds of designs. A geometrical relationship is built between the height and the height of the scene walls.

Some areas are fenced by highest scene walls such as the gate and channel. In that case, a kind of strict atmosphere will be built.

The family cemetery space which is fenced by the higher scene walls and the areas around it is lower. The first whole space to the cemetery is constituted by a building with the meditation spaces and views water. The area goes with the lower scene walls and plenty of plants. A kind of yard view is built.

Because of the level difference is great, lots of level difference ways are used in the design. There are lots of slopes and stairs in the site. There is a distinction in height in the design of the scene walls, so the best way to describe the site is aerial view. One can know directly the design idea and atmosphere through the full view. The red and white trees represent the special planting areas in the picture, which mainly reflects in the colors and height. And the whole cemetery garden is a sunken space. This kind of space has a better atmosphere feeling which is fenced by the scene walls, and also reflects another “world” better. We can see clearly the only way to the site is a channel. It learns from the entrance design of the art《Miho Museum》by Leon Ming Pei. It makes people feel like living in the paradise.

The door is between the two spaces. It is also the only way from one space to another. To build a “two worlds” idea, some abstract thresholds are designed in the entrance of the door. The solemnity and repression brought by high thresholds are suitable for the special scene areas.

A long simi-transparent glass curtain is interluded in the special design of the gate, which makes people examine themselves before entering into the“world”. They can see the difference with others through the glass and know clearly the aim and mood they come here.

The plants we have in our space are almost green. But it’s a new space, so we can choose the different colors to plant around the site.

Due to the high walls to fence people’s views in the site. So a new “world space” is formed. So we made a choice and design on the planting height. We choose the higher trees in the cemetery areas, and the small trees in the grassy areas.

It’s difficult to plant in a polluted area. So we need some plants which can build up the planting ecology. The plants should have strong ability to restore the soil.

How to provide better education for the next generation? It is a question for each individual and every country. Classroom Redefinition provides a supplementary solution for the current education system, hoping to compensate the neglected outdoor activities by the current education by use of parks while mitigating the uneven distribution of education resources.

At present, there exist many problems in the education system of China: attaching too much importance to in-class lessons but neglecting the physical exercise, differences among schools that lead to differentiated education for students, categorizing students by school and grade which hinders the communication between children with various characteristics and of different age. Therefore, I want to use landscape design to address these problems, break the stereotypes of classrooms and schools, and create a brand new outdoor classroom.

Educational Development History

Modern education in China began with the Westernization Movement. Schools were opened for the student to learn from the advanced Western culture. After that, under the leadership of Hu Shi and Chen Duxiu in the New Culture Movement, education in China was brought to a new height and received increasing attention. A comprehensive education system is under construction and it is great to put education development on the agenda.

We have focused on investigating the data of school enrollment and made a graphical analysis. Through a comprehensive comparison of the four different teaching places of elementary school, junior high school, senior high school and university, we have found that the education enrollment rate in China has been increasing year by year since 1965 to reach a leap in quality, which indicates that the country attaches great importance to the education development and cultivation, and that education is gradually developing towards a better direction.

First, it concerns the imbalanced education resources . There are huge gaps between different regions and different schools. In addition, due to the policies in some regions, some students have no access to a good school at the beginning.

The left side of the ability circle represents the knowledge learned in the classrooms, such as science, mathematics, literature, and computer technology. The current education focuses on the left side while ignoring the comprehensive development on the right, such as physical exercise, interpersonal relationship development, and understanding the nature.

The second problem is the monotonous education model . Should inclass education include more knowledge or the teaching contributing to the integrated development of abilities? The current education model attaches great importance to the scores, resulting in negative influence on the physical and mental health of students and the problems of going overboard on one or some subjects. Students do not have enough time and opportunities to develop their own interest, and the cultivation of individualities is ignored.

The third problem concerns the education classification . Students with physical defects or difficulties in studying with other children are usually trained and educated separately in special schools. Although it is convenient for both sides, there lacks the connection with the students from ordinary schools in their subsequent auxiliary learning, such as holding fellowship activities. It is hard for those kids to be part of a society while missing the opportunities to develop interpersonal relationships.

Therefore, based on the three points above, hope to use the knowledge and skills relevant to landscape to make an auxiliary landscape that can improve the education model.

John Dewey’s Democracy and Education has discussed about the connection between education and life. It is said that education is not limited to the in-class learning from the textbooks while life is also part of the education. Therefore, we have combined this point with the problem of imbalanced education resources from our preliminary research and concluded that since the education resources in the classroom are imbalanced and we cannot change it, it is better to take the idea of life as the core of the outdoor classroom to solve the problems through landscape-related skills.

The reason of choosing Joan Miró’s paintings as the source of inspiration is that the colors and style of his paintings are rich and child-oriented, because he has been observing the world with a child’s heart. Thus, in our design it is also necessary to understand the children’s needs and thoughts in order to maximize the role and function of the landscape.

After investigating and analyzing the schools in Xi’an, we chose a site where there are many schools with great differences—an urban village near the Qinglong Temple in Xi’an. Nearby the project site are the metro station of Qinglong Temple on Line 4, multiple bus lines, and many student residents.

Design Strategy Analysis

We observed and extracted elements from some of Joan Miró’s works, copied and reorganized these elements in different permutations and combinations. The collage design combined with the site features has provided inspiration for the overall layout.

Manual Model

When creating the collage design, we thought that the flat design elements couldn’t fully reflect or provide a very good source of ideas and inspiration for the overall landscape design, so we dug deeper into the extracted elements and made a manual model. Through observing and making hand-made models we created the landscape installations in a three-dimensional world.

When designing the sound space, we included the needs of special people by using water as a communication medium to design a sound gallery where the height of the fountains can change according to different voices based on the principle combining fountains and perception of sound. We also put some simple words used in daily life into the database, so that it can help the disabled group to have vocal practice and let them communicate with others.

After learning the information about the hearingimpaired, we understand that some people can hear the sound but it is difficult to discriminate different sounds. It is proposed to establish an air duct site that changes the sound through airflow to strengthen their ability to discriminate sounds.

Through a comprehensive analysis of the site design, it is found that the site has a certain degree of height difference. Areas of different functions need to be connected with slopes, while these slopes can serve as entertainment venues for skateboarders to improve people’s physical fitness.

Children's Height Analysis

We conducted a detailed data analysis on children’s heights to sum up the average heights of the children of different age and present the data with graphs. According to the data, we got the insights and diverse plans for the design of the equipment for climbing and canoe bridges, which could ensure the training and increase the playability and fun of the equipment.

Device Analysis

The installation adopts the design of joint modules, which can not only ensure convenient installation and disassembly of the equipment, but also allow children to make adjustments at any time when using them to achieve different entertainment purposes. The combination of single bridge and climbing devices makes it look like a large-scale facility and brings out the potential of other additional functions, such as a seat or a semi-enclosed parking space.

In Democracy and Education, it is mentioned that the experience sharing in education is very important, so we have considered how to diversify the experience sharing when designing the space of the outdoor library. We think that experience sharing shouldn’t be limited to the reading of books, but can be realized through different forms. Therefore, we have different facilities in the venue, such as enclosed seats around the podium, projection screens and galleries on the view wall, etc. Different activities can bring different experience, as well as growth from different aspects.

JOY TURBO is a collective care system, which integrates education, leisure, and entertainment. By setting up the functions and enriching the scape forms for different groups of people, it can alleviate the psychological and phychological state of the group to a certain extent, thereby improving the sense of joy and happiness of the group in the community and making up an important part of the community missing.

Historical Development

The historical trajectory of the site: The site had long been used as a nursery garden in history. After the founding of the New China, Xi’an Zoo was built here, making it an urban activity center of entertainment and leisure. However, in response to the demands of era development, the original zoo could not bear the saturated quantity of tourists anymore. After the removal of the zoo, this size was rebuilt into a general park named Changle Park, which enjoys a nice landscape and vivid jungles with the greening rate up to 89%.

Design Purposal

The project is located on the lake central island in Changle Park. At present, besides vegetation, the lake central island lacks facilities for leisure and entertainment, promising creative design. However, the island is located at the center of this park and serves as the linkage for different areas in the park, bringing a lot of development potential in space. Therefore, we expect to remake the lake central island a park hub with our design and bring new vitality to the park.

The project lies in Changle Park in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, with convenient traffic nearby and complete infrastructure. A series of infrastructures such as residential areas, education zones, office areas and medical regions are involved around. There is a high density of population—complicated groups of crowd and visitors of different ages in the area.

User Analysis

We collected nearby users’ feedbacks about the park through questionnaire. As shown by the following icons, the majority prefer to relax when they’re down in mood, but they cannot be satisfied with existing hardware facilities in the park.

It is a multi-functional, diversified and joint-participant collective care system integrating education, parentchild gathering and certain mental adjustment.

In addition, users of different ages suffer from different social and physiological problems in social life, which can be be emotionally detrimental. It is expected that our design can not only satisfy users’ expectations for existing facilities in the park, but also relieve their negative emotions through functions and space. We hope the design can form a collective emotion care system.

Function Demand And Space Analysis

With JOY TURBO we expect all the visitors can get certain emotional satisfaction and relieve negative emotions with some activities or facilities. All our experimental models are designed from the sense organ level, aiming to explore pleasing colors, shapes and architectural forms.

Masterplan Sightseeing Platform Sketch

The landscape design aims to form the collective emotion care system through the configuration of paths and functional zones. At first, we hope to form an emotional loop by setting the closed path, implying a cycle from calmness to pleasure and finally to the calmness again. We design this as the emotional loop can help people realize long-time emotional stability, rather than temporary emotional peak or valley. Specifically, different functional zones are configured on the path. With the close association with emotions, these functional zones can bring high spirits or calm people down.

We’ve designed a series of landscape nodes along with major emotion loops. The playground for children in the architecture brings an emotional peak on site; the open sightseeing platform helps people relieve emotions and take delight; some users can stay alone and calm down in the enclosed space created by tree pools; people walking on the water footpaths, namely a transition zone, can relieve their emotional fluctuation. Users’ different emotional demands are satisfied by different nodes on site.

In the quiet zone, a series of enclosed spaces is created to calm people down. Here, the enclosed space is created by two manners: tree pools as walls; tall trees as the enclosure.

User Analysis

Approaching the water can help people calm down, so we design some roads on the water to link people’s association with water. With different heights and distances from the water, this section of road can meet diversified needs.

As found in the user survey, a lot of old users want to make personal performance and expect such a place for art performing. Therefore, we design a series of stages in the landscape. These stages are linked with mobile phone APP, so users who want to give a performance can book the stage and performing time with the online APP.

JOY TURBO aims to solve different emotional problems. We select different colors of plants, mainly those with distinctive colors and diversified seasonal looks, to present different emotions of users on site.
