- Test a Green Vertical Traffic System on Rooftops
In Guangzhou, China, many urban villages persist due to their low housing costs, attracting a large population. However, these areas face significant challenges, such as severe traffic congestion caused by narrow streets and limited natural light. Inspired by these issues, I chose Sanyuanli Village, a highly representative urban village, for a transformation project.
My design involves creating a vertical transportation system on the rooftops to connect 33 adjacent buildings and installing elevators within the structures to improve accessibility. This solution aims to alleviate ground-level congestion by relocating non-motor vehicle parking to the rooftops, where residents can also dry clothes, socialize, and engage in recreational activities, fostering a vibrant and friendly community environment.

Problems:
01. Density is too high 02. Very crowded 03. Non-motor vehicles parked randomly
Too dark
The site I chose is Sanyuanli Urban Village in Guangzhou, China. In the urban village, I decided on thirty-three buildings as my site.
According to the analysis, Guangzhou Sanyuanli Urban Village has many problems. The most severe problem is the random parking of non-motor vehicles. I am going to relieve this problem. So, I started designing the vertical transportation system on the roof.
I have extracted eight functions designed in the urban village: pavilions for motorbikes and bicycles to park, clothes hangers for people to dry clothes, seats for rest, etc.
Pavilion01
Maximum capacity: 3-8 people
Number of parked bicycles: 1-8
Pavilion02
Maximum capacity: 3-5 people
Number of parked bicycles: 1-4
Scale: 1:100
This is the final design for the Sanyuanli Village rooftop. The space allows residents to park non-motorized vehicles, dry clothes, and engage in social activities, alleviating congestion at ground level. The rooftop creates a closer connection with nature and the city, enhancing the community's overall happiness.

Recognizing the growing emphasis on body wellness and emotional health, I aim to design an innovative and versatile Metaverse gym in the heart of Glasgow. This cutting-edge space will combine traditional physical exercise areas with brain-sensory activities tailored for individuals with disabilities. Participants can connect and compete in immersive exercise challenges through interactive glass screens, where whisky-bottom digital avatars foster engagement and reduce the monotony often associated with conventional gyms.
This concept seeks to attract young people, promote social connections, and improve overall well-being by enhancing interactions between users and their digital avatars.

What design style do you like in the gym? What's your purpose for going to the gym? What's the critical part of the gym?
01. Three levels are divided according to three whiskey brands with different prices.
02. A total of 9 digital avatars have been developed so far. Designers will create more digital avatars in the future.
Gym users should save more money , and they can buy the tops of digital avatars.
Gym users can keep checking in daily to get the number of gold pt coins and unlock the next level of digital avatar.
The primary digital avatar is the cheapest whiskey bottle ; you have three options. The gym will give you the most affordable digital avatar for whisky as a gift.
