ZigZagZurich Kids - Designed by big kids for little kids, and little kids for big kids ! The new ZigZagZurich Kids collection celebrates humour and colour through original illustrations, watercolours and characters. W e w o r k e d w i t h i n c r e d i b l y t a l e n t e d a n d c h e e rful artists from around the globe to bring this new collection to life. Our idea behind ZigZagZurich Kids is to bring that little bit different story to childrens bedrooms - bedding, draperies and accessories. As with everything from ZigZagZurich, our kids collection uses the finest quality materials - European spun and woven quality cotton, Oekotex dyes and inks meaning nothing harmful to the environment or you and everything finished by hand at our atelier in Italy. As its all handmade in limited numbers, we are able to supply all sizes whether US, European or Asian.
LUFTIBUS Hand drawn shapes fly and dance, imagination running free. The lightness and carefree nature of children was captured in this design creating playful, colorful dreams and shapes that float in the bedroom. A celebration of colour and freedom.
ROBOT LAND How do you create a childs world of robots and characters, capturing their imagination and humour - you let the children create it themselves. Robot Land is a collaboration between Class 1-3 Havelland School Berlin and Sophie Probst. We set a simple goal to the kids - what does a robot look like in your mind. The end result is a collage of 60 childrens minds, individual artwork put together to create the collage of Robot Land. “Thats not a robot that is a bear“ we asked one child “I like bears more than robots“ was the answer.
ALPHABET CITY Designed by Natalie Born, an ex-graduate from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, Natalie’s explorations are exquisite hybrids of drawings and collages, which reflect her involvement with Fashion and Art. Alphabet City is her first piece of work for ZigZagZurich Kids, originally drawn for her son to help him with spelling. CIRCUS LIFE Like in a circus, fantasy blends with reality and gives children’s eyes a chance to discover every night a new character. Today elephant, tomorrow a lion or maybe a creature created while dreaming.
